Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix animated series The Dragon Prince. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s third season composed by Frederik Wiedmann (Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Field of Lost Shoes, Hangman, Doom: Annihilation, Intruders, Acts of Vengeance). The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 22 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Brazilian/German drama Invisible Life (A Vida Invisível de Eurídice Gusmão). The album features the film’s original music composed by Benedikt Schiefer (Unter dir die Stadt, I Am Guilty). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. Invisible Life is directed by Karim Aïnouz and stars Carol Duarte, Julia Stockler, Fernanda Montenegro, Gregorio Duvivier, Bárbara Santos, Flávia Gusmão and Maria Manoella. Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the sports drama Ford v Ferrari directed by James Mangold and starring Matt Damon, Christian Bale, Jon Bernthal, Caitriona Balfe, Josh Lucas, Noah Jupe, Tracy Letts, Remo Girone and Ray McKinnon. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Logan, Scream, A Quiet Place) & Buck Sanders (The Hurt Locker, Warm Bodies). Fox Music & Hollywood Records have released two soundtrack albums featuring the composers’ music (click here for the score album details) and the songs from the movie (click here for more information).
Also opening wide is the action comedy Charlie’s Angels directed by Elizabeth Banks and starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, Ella Balinska, Djimon Hounsou, Noah Centineo, Sam Claflin and Patrick Stewart. Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious, Crazy Rich Asians) has composed the film’s original score. Hollywood Records has released the full concert album for the ABC drama Lost. We Have to Go Back: The LOST Concert features the Emmy Award-winning music from the hit series composed and conducted by Michael Giacchino (Up, Star Trek, Jurassic World, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) recorded this past June at the National Concert Hall in Dublin, Ireland with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra. Polydor Records has released the original song Beautiful Ghosts from Tom Hooper’s film adaptation of the stage musical Cats. The track is performed by Taylor Swift and co-written by the singer/songwriter with Andrew Lloyd Webber. The song is now available to stream and download as a digital single on Amazon.
