Premiering tonight is the new AMC original series NOS4A2 developed by Jami O’Brien based on Joe Hill’s novel and starring Ashleigh Cummings, Olafur Darri Olafsson, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Virginia Kull, Jahkara Smith and Zachary Quinto. The show’s original music is composed by Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Boy Erased, Enemy, The Gift, Ozark, Fear the Walking Dead, Martha Marcy May Marlene). Also premiering tonight is the Epix original series Perpetual Grace, LTD created by Steve Conrad & Bruce Terris and starring Ben Kingsley, Jimmi Simpson, Jackie Weaver, Luis Guzman, Damon Herriman, Chris Conrad, Kurtwood Smith, Terry O’Quinn and Hana Mae Lee. Alex Wurman (March of the Penguins, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Talladega Nights, Hollywood Homicide) is composing the show’s original music. Fox Music to Release ‘Dark Phoenix’ Soundtrack

Fox Music will release the official soundtrack album for Simon Kinberg’s X-Men movie Dark Phoenix. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator, Interstellar). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 7, 2019 and will be available to pre-order on Amazon soon. A physical version is also in the works. Soundtrack Album for FX’s ‘Fosse/Verdon’ Released

Atlantic Records has released a soundtrack album for the FX original series Fosse/Verdon. The album features the songs from the series, as well other musical highlights and the show’s theme by the project’s music director Alex Lacamoire. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released eight digital singles for all episodes of the series. Fosse/Verdon is developed by Steven Levenson & Thomas Kail based on Sam Wasson’s biography Fosse and stars Sam Rockwell as Bob Fosse, Michelle Williams as Gwen Verdon, as well as Norbert Leo Butz, Aya Cash, Nate Corddry, Evan Handler, Paul Reiser and Margaret Qualley. Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this week:

Opening in most theaters is the monster movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters directed by Mike Dougherty and starring Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler and Millie Bobby Brown. The film’s original music is composed by Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Outlander). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Also opening wide is the biographical musical drama Rocketman directed by Dexter Fletcher and starring Taron Egerton, Jamie Bell, Richard Madden, Gemma Jones and Bryce Dallas Howard. Matthew Margeson (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Eddie the Eagle) has composed the film’s original score. Interscope Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the Elton John songs featured in the movie performed by Egerton, as well as an original song performed by John & Egerton. Sony Classical to Release ‘Men in Black: International’ Score Album

Sony Classical will release a score album for the sci-fi action comedy Men in Black: International. The album features the film’s original score composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, Spider-Man, Alice in Wonderland, Nightmare Before Christmas) who scored all previous three installments in the Men in Black series and Chris Bacon (Source Code, Gnomeo & Juliet, The Tick). Daya’s & Diane Warren’s Original Song ‘Forward Motion’ from ‘Late Night’ Released

The track is written by 10 time Academy Award nominee Diane Warren and performed by Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Daya. First Song from Disney Channel’s ‘Descendants 3’ Released

Walt Disney Records has released the first song from the soundtrack for the Disney Channel original movie Descendants 3. The track, Good to Be Bad, is written by Antonina Armato, Thomas Sturges, Adam Schmalholz & Tim James and performed by cast members Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart, Cameron Boyce, Jadah Marie and Anna Cathcart. ‘Late Night’ Soundtrack Details

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the comedy drama Late Night. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lesley Barber (Manchester by the Sea, You Can Count On Me, Mansfield Park, Irreplaceable You, The Moth Diaries). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, June 7 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Late Night is directed by Nisha Ganatra and stars Emma Thompson, Mindy Kaling (who also co-wrote the screenplay and is producing the project), Max Casella, Hugh Dancy, John Lithgow, Denis O’Hare, Reid Scott and Amy Ryan. The movie follows a late-night talk show host who is at risk of losing her long-running show right when she hires her first female writer who revitalizes her show and her life. Soundtrack Album for Bong Joon-Ho’s ‘Parasite’ Released

Genie Music Corporation and Stone Music Entertainment have released a soundtrack album for Boon Joon-Ho’s comedy Parasite. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jung Jaeil (Take Point) who previously scored the director’s last feature, Okja. The soundtrack is now available to download overseas. A CD version will be released on June 7 and is available to order here. Milan Records will release the album this October in the U.S. (visit Amazon to stream/download). Parasite is co-written and directed by Joon-Ho (Snowpiercer, The Host, Mother) stars Song Kang-Ho, Lee Sun-kyun, Cho Yeo-jeong, Choi Woo-shik and Park So-dam. The comedy premiered earlier this month at the Cannes Film Festival where it received the Palme d’Or, and will be released in select U.S. theaters on October 11, 2019 by Neon. ‘Deadwood: The Movie’ Soundtrack Details

WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the HBO’s Deadwood: The Movie. The album features the film’s original music composed by Reinhold Heil & Johnny Klimek (Cloud Atlas, The International, Run Lola Run, The International, Perfume: Story of a Murderer) who previously co-scored most episodes of the original Deadwood series. Also included is the main title theme by David Schwartz (Arrested Development, Northern Exposure). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 31 and will be available to download on Amazon. Deadwood: The Movie is directed by Daniel Minhan, written by series creator David Milch and stars Ian McShane, Timothy Olyphant, Molly Parker, Paula Malcomson, John Hawkes, Anna Gunn, Dayton Callie, Brad Dourif, Robin Weigert, William Sanderson, Kim Dickens, Gerald McRaney and Jade Pettyjohn.
