Walt Disney Records has released the official soundtrack album for the Disney Channel original movie Descendants 3. The album features the songs from the third installment in the Descendants series performed by cast members Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart, Cameron Boyce, Sarah Jefferey, Jadah Marie, Anna Cathcart, Dylan Playfair, China Anne McClain and Thomas Doherty. Also included is score suite written by the movie’s composer David Lawrence (American Pie, High School Musical). The album features the film’s original music composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2, John Wick, 300, The Punisher, Watchmen). The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, Elf, The Jungle Book, Iron Man 2, Bruce Almighty). Barrington Pheloung has passed away at age 65 at his home in Australia. The composer has scored numerous movies, TV shows and TV movies over a three-decade spanning career. Among his feature credits are Anand Tucker’s 1998 drama Hilary and Jackie and 2005’s Shopgirl, as well as Anthony Minghella’s 1990 film Truly Madly Deeply and Sharon Maguire’s 2008 thriller Incendiary. His television credits include such shows as Endeavour, which he has been scoring for the past seven years, Inspector Lewis and Inspector Morse. Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am is directed by directed by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders and centers on the life and works of the acclaimed novelist.
