Planètes Rouges has released a soundtrack album for the French/Tunisian drama In a Whisper (À voix basse). The album features the film’s original music composed by Yom (aka Guillaume Humery) . The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s final track after the jump. In a Whisper is written and directed by Leyla Bouzid and stars Eya Bouteraa, Hiam Abbass, Marion Barbeau and Feriel Chamari. The movie revolves around young woman who travels back to Tunisia for her uncle’s funeral and reunites with a family that knows nothing about her life in Paris and finds herself confronted with family secrets in a house where three generations of women cohabit between silences and traditions. The drama premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and is being released in French theaters today. Strand Releasing has picked up domestic distribution rights for a release in the U.S. later this year.
