Premiering on Thursday, January 30, is the Netflix limited series The Stranger created by Harlan Coben and starring Richard Armitage, Siobhan Finneran, Jennifer Saunders, Hannah John-Kamen,  Anthony Head and Stephen Rea. Premiering on Friday, January 31, is the new Pixar Animation Studios short Lamp Life directed by Valerie LaPointe and featuring the voices of Christina Hendricks, Annie Potts and Jim Hanks. Jake Monaco (Let’s Be Cops, Dumplin’, Forky Asks a Question, Keeping Up with the Joneses) has composed the film’s original music. The short, which explores what exactly happened to Bo Peep between her separation from Woody to the events in Toy Story 4, will be available to stream exclusively on Disney+.

Missing from last week’s TV music roundup was the new Fox comedy Outmatched created by Lon Zimmet and starring Maggie Lawson, Jason Biggs, Connor Kalopsis, Ashley Boettcher, Jack Stanton and Oakley Bull. The show’s original music is composed by Duncan Blickenstaff (Alex, Inc., LA to Vegas). The series, which follows a blue-collar couple in Atlantic City trying to raise four kids, premiered on January 23 and will air every Wednesday night on Fox.     They really like using Jake Monaco for their Toy Story stuff. At least the Toy Story shorts mixed it up with Mark Mothersbaugh, Henry Jackman, and Brian Transeau.
