Rob (Maniac, Revenge, Horns, Troy: Fall of a City, Planetarium) has composed the original score for the upcoming horror thriller Run Sweetheart Run. The film is written and directed by Shana Feste (Country Strong, Endless Love) and stars Ella Balinska, Pilou Asbæk, Clark Gregg, Aml Ameen, Dayo Okeniyi and Shohreh Aghdashloo. The movie revolves around a woman who has to get home through Los Angeles with her date in pursuit after a blind date that turns violent. Jason Blum (Get Out, Paranormal Activity, Insidious) is producing the project with Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Sinister, Midnight Special). Run Sweetheart Run will premiere this month at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and is expected to be released later this year.
As previously reported, Rob also has Osgood Perkins’ Gretel & Hansel (to be released on January 31 by Orion Pictures) coming up.
