Premiering tomorrow, May 18, is the Acorn TV original series You’re Killing Me created by Robin Bernheim, co-produced by Topsail Entertainment and Shaftesbury and starring Brooke Shields, Amalia Williamson and Tom Cavanagh. The show’s original music is composed by Alexandra Petrovski (aka FJØRA). The murder mystery series, which is set in a quaint New England town and follows a bestselling novelist who forms an unlikely alliance with an aspiring writer and podcaster to find the killer of a close friend, will be available to stream exclusively on Acorn TV.

Premiering on Wednesday, May 20, is the Prime Video original movie Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War directed by Andrew Bernstein and starring John Krasinski, Wendell Pierce, Michael Kelly,Max Beesley, JJ Feild, Betty Gabriel, Douglas Hodge and Sienna Miller. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Fallout, Pacific Rim, Iron Man, Eternals, House of the Dragon, Clash of the Titans, Uncharted, A Wrinkle in Time) & William Marriott (Beacon 23) have composed the film’s original music. Atli Örvarsson (The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Vantage Point, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, The Edge of Seventeen, Rams, Defending Jacob, The Eagle) has composed the original score for the new Netflix original film Ladies First. The movie is directed by Thea Sharrock (Me Before You, Wicked Little Letters) and stars Sacha Baron Cohen, Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, Emily Mortimer, Charles Dance, Fiona Shaw, Weruche Opia, Tom Davis, Kathryn Hunter and Kadiff Kirwan. The comedy follows an arrogant but charismatic ladies’ man who finds his life of money, power and casual flings upended when he wakes up in a parallel world dominated by women. Marco Beltrami’s ‘Scream 7’ Score to Be Released

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the slasher sequel Scream 7. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (Logan, 3:10 to Yuma,A Quiet Place, Ford v. Ferrari, The Hurt Locker, Hellboy, World War Z, The Wolverine). The soundtrack will be released digitally this coming Friday, May 22. Check back on this page for the full album details. ‘The Beloved’ Soundtrack EP Released

Olivier Arson (The Candidate, Madre, The Beasts, Piggy, Riot Police, See You in Another Life, The Zone) has released a soundtrack EP for the Spanish/French drama The Beloved (El ser querido). The 6-track EP features the composer’s music from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to Arson’s title track after the jump. The Beloved is co-written and directed by Rodrigo Sorogoyen and stars Javier Bardem, Victoria Luengo, Raúl Arévalo and Marina Foïs. The movie explores the relationship between an acclaimed film director and his daughter, a struggling actress who – after years of estrangement – collaborated on a movie and are forced to confront a troubled past neither of them has wanted to face. Sony Classical has released the original end credits song Across the Sea and Sky from the series finale of the Starz original series Outlander. The song written by the show’s composer Bear McCreary & Brendan McCreary and performed by Raya Yarbrough is now available to stream/download as part of an updated version of the Season 8 soundtrack album on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Singer/songwriter, cellist and composer Kelsey Lu (Earth Mama, Daughters) has written the original score for the upcoming drama Clarissa. The film is directed by Arie & Chuko Esiri and stars Sophie Okonedo, Ayo Edebiri, David Oyelowo, Toheeb Jimoh, India Amarteifio and Fortune Nwafor. The movie is based on Virginia Woolf’s classic novel Mrs. Dalloway and follows a society woman as she prepares to host a party at her home in Lagos, Nigeria, where she unexpectedly encounters once-intimate friends from her youth. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the supernatural horror feature Obsession written and directed by Curry Barker and stars Michael Johnston, Inde Navarrette, Megan Lawless, Andy Richter and Cooper Tomlinson. The film’s original music is composed by Rock Burwell. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer and singer/songwriter’s score today and Waxwork Records will release a vinyl edition. Also opening wide is the action thriller In the Grey written and directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Kristofer Hivju, Rosamund Pike, Michael Vu, Emmet J. Scanlan, Carlos Bardem, Fisher Stevens and Jason Wong.
