La Boîte à Fanny has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature The Last Whale Singer. The album features the film’s original score composed by Daníel Bjarnason (The Deep, Under the Tree, I’ll Be Your Mirror, Northern Comfort). Also included is the song I’ll Be produced by Bjarnason and performed by Ásgeir. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all other major digital music services, including Amazon. The Last Whale Singer is written and directed by Reza Memari and features the voices of Bruce Dinsmore, Vincent Tong and Jenna Wheeler-Hughes. The movie tells the coming-of-age story about a young humpback whale named Vincent who must overcome self-doubt and sing his song to protect the ocean he calls home. The animated adventure opened in German theaters this past January and will be released in U.S. theaters this Friday, June 5 by Viva Pictures.
