WaterTower Music has released the first full soundtrack album for the CW comedy drama Katy Keene. The album features the songs from the show’s first season performed by cast members including Ashleigh Murray, Lucy Hale, Jonny Beauchamp, Julia Chan, Camille Hyde, Azriel Crews, Emily Rafala and Bernadette Peters. The label has previously released several EPs and singles featuring from each Season 1 episode, as well as a full album featuring the music from the Kiss of the Spider Woman musical episode. Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Crime Story, Feud: Bette and Joan) has recently been scoring the upcoming Netflix original series Ratched. The show is created by Evan Romansky based on Ken Kesey’s novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and stars Sarah Paulson in the title role of Nurse Ratched, alongside Finn Wittrock, Jon Jon Briones, Judy Davis, Harriet Harris, Cynthia Nixon, Charlie Carver, Corey Stoll, Hunter Parrish, Amanda Plummer and Sharon Stone. The details of the new soundtrack album for the HBO original series Succession have been announced. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Nicholas Britell (Moonlight, The Big Short, If Beale Street Could Talk, Vice, Battle of the Sexes, Free State of Jones). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 22 by WaterTower Music and will be available to stream/download here. The final tracks of the album are already available to stream/download now. Milan Records has released the first soundtrack album featuring Britell’s music from Season 1 last year. The album features the film’s original music composed by Sergio Moure de Oteyza (Extinction, The Body, KidnappedThesis on a Homicide). The track is written by the show’s composer Nicholas Britell (Moonlight, If Beale Street Could Talk, The Big Short, Battle of the Sexes, Vice) with Adam McKay & Will Tracy and performed by Jeremy Strong’s character Kendall Roy. Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us, Runaways, Looking for Alaska, The Royals) has teamed up with Lauren Culjak to score the upcoming Hulu original series Love, Victor. The show is created by Isaac Aptaker & Elizabeth Berger based on the 2018 feature Love, Simon, which was inspired by Becky Albertalli’s novel Simon Vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, and stars Michael Cimino, Ana Ortiz, James Martinez, Isabella Ferreira, Rachel Naomi Hilson, Bebe Wood, George Sear, Anthony Turpel and Mason Gooding The dramedy is set in the world of the Love, Simon movie (scored by Rob Simonsen) and follows a new student at Creekwood High School on his own journey of self-discovery, facing challenges at home, adjusting to a new city, and struggling with his sexual orientation. The album features selections of the original show’s original music composed by Wade MacNeil (The Ranger) of Alexisonfire and the UK punk band Gallows and Andrew Gordon Macpherson (Random Acts of Violence). Martin Todsharow has been tapped to score the upcoming sci-fi action adventure Snake Eyes. The film is directed by Robert Schwentke (Flightplan, RED, The Time Traveler’s Wife) and stars Henry Golding, Samara Weaving, Haruka Abe, Ursula Corbero, Iko Uwais, Andrew Koji and Takehiro Hira. The G.I. Joe spin-off chronicles the origin story of the title character. Evan Spiliotopoulos (Beauty and the Beast, Hercules) wrote the screenplay. Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers, Bumblebee, The Meg) and Brian Goldner (Ouija: Origin of Evil) are producing the project. Todsharow (Desert Flower, Head Full of Honey) has previously collaborated with Schwentke on all of the director’s German language features, including Tattoo, The Family Jewels and The Captain.
