Premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday, July 6, is the natural history series The Green Planet narrated by David Attenborough and executive produced by Michael Gunton. The show’s original music is composed by Benji Merrison (SAS: Red Notice, General Magic) & Will Slater (Dynasties). Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score this past April. Check out our soundtrack announcement for the full album details and to learn more about the series, which premiered in the UK earlier this year on BBC One and is making its U.S. debut on PBS.

Premiering on Friday, July 8, is the Apple TV+ limited series Black Bird developed by Dennis Lehane and starring Taron Egerton, Paul Walter Hauser, Greg Kinnear, Sepideh Moafi and Ray Liotta. The Scottish post-rock band Mogwai (ZeroZeroZero, The Returned, Kin) has composed the show’s original music. Soundtrack Album for ITV’s ‘Trigger Point’ Released

Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album for the ITV drama Trigger Point. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Chris Roe (Armstrong, Mission Control: The Unsung Heroes of Apollo, After Love, Death of a Gentleman). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms. Visit Amazon to check out audio samples. Trigger Point is written by Daniel Brierley and stars Vicky McClure, Adrian Lester, Mark Stanley, Warren Brown, Kerry Godliman, Cal MacAninch, Manjinder Virk and Ralph Ineson. The 6-part thriller follows the officers of Expo, the Metropolitan Police Bomb Disposal Squad, who risk their lives daily on the long walk towards danger.

Opening in select theaters today is the horror movie In the Earth written and directed by Ben Wheatley and starring Joel Fry, Reece Shearsmith, Ellora Torchia and Hayley Squires. The film’s original music is composed by Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan, The Fountain, Noah, Rebecca, Moon, Titans, Doom Patrol). Lakeshore Records & Invada Records have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the drama Monday co-written and directed by Argyris Papadimitropoulos and starring Sebastian Stan, Denise Gough, Yorgos Pirpassopoulos and Dominique Tipper. Alexis Grapsas (Trigonometry, Big Shot, Teacher) has composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score next Friday, April 23. The movie, which tells the story of two Americans in their mid-thirties living in Athens who meet in the heat of summer one whirlwind weekend, is being distributed by IFC Films.

The film is directed by Brad Turner (24, Helix, The Shannara Chronicles) and stars Barry Pepper, Colm Feore, Eve Harlow, Laura Vandervoort, Jayne Eastwood, Rainbow Sun Francks and Karen Robinson. The movie revolves around a disgraced U.S. operative who suffered memory loss at the hand of captors as he is dragged back into the deadly spy world when a colleague goes missing. Michael Vickerman (Tut) wrote the screenplay.
