Opening in theaters nationwide today following an IMAX-exclusive release over the last three weeks is the drama Nomadland written and directed by Chloe Zhao and starring Frances McDormand, David Strathairn, Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells. The film features (pre-existing) compositions by Ludovico Einaudi (The Intouchables, The Father, Samba). Decca Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music, as well as tracks by Ólafur Arnalds, Nat King Cole, Cat Clifford, Paul Winer, Donnie Miller & others. Opening in select U.S. theaters and on VOD today is the British comedy Blithe Spirit directed by Edward Hall and starring Dan Stevens, Isla Fisher, Judi Dench, Leslie Mann, Aimee-ffion Edwards and Emilia Fox. The film’s original score is composed by Simon Boswell (Hackers, Lord of Illusions, Shadow Grave, A Midsummer Night’s Dream). Decca Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie by artists such as Michael Ball, Imelda May, Shaun Escoffrey, Alfie Boe, Gregory Porter & others earlier this year when the movie premiered in the UK.
