Gabriel des Forêts has released a soundtrack album for the French drama The Family (La vraie famille). The album features the composer’s original music from the film and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. The Family is written and directed by Fabien Gorgeart and stars Mélanie Thierry, Felix Moati and Lyes Salem. The movie follows a woman who happily lives with her her husband and children, including a boy who was placed with her by the Social Care services when he was only 18 months, whose life gets torn apart when the child’s father decides that he is ready to take his son back with him. The drama was released in French theaters last month. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
