Bavaria Sonor Records will release a soundtrack album for the German mini-series Ku’damm 63. The album features the show’s original music composed by Karim Sebastian Elias (Treasure Island, Saudi Runaway, Of Fathers and Sons, Siegfried) and performed by the Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester . The soundtrack will be released digitally this coming Friday, March 19 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Ku’damm 63 created by Annette Hess is the followup to 2016’s Ku’damm 56 and 2018’s Ku’damm 59 and tells the story of Germany’s halting evolution toward larger justice and liberty told through the loves, hard-won freedoms and suffering of three sisters. Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, The Affair, Wonder, Ray Donovan, The Good Shepherd, Enough Said, The Loudest Voice) has recently scored the new HBO Sports documentary The Day Sports Stood Still. The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Equalizer) and tells the story of the unprecedented sports shutdown in March of 2020 and the remarkable turn of events that followed. The movie chronicles the abrupt stoppage, athletes’ prominent role in the cultural reckoning on racial injustices that escalated during the pandemic, and the complex return to competition in the summer and fall. ‘Hi, Mom’ Soundtrack Album Released

Ruyi Pictures has released a soundtrack album for the Chinese comedy Hi, Mom. The album features the film’s original music composed by Fei Peng (Bleeding Steel, Lost in Hong Kong, Lost in Russia, Hello Mr. Billionaire). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music stores), where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Hi, Mom is co-written and directed by Jia Ling and stars Jia Ling, Shen Teng, Chen He and Zhang Xiaofei. The musical comedy is co-created by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio (Despicable Me, The Secret Life of Pets) and stars Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Alan Cumming, Kristin Chenoweth, Dove Cameron, Aaron Tveit, Ariana DeBose, Jaime Camil, Fred Armisen, Jane Krakowski and Ann Harada. The show follows a couple on a backpacking trip designed to reinvigorate their relationship when they discover a magical town in which everyone is living in a studio musical from the 1940s. PUSH HCV has released the cover version of Billy Paul’s Everybody’s Breakin’ Up from the romantic drama Trust. The track is performed by the film’s lead actress Victoria Justice and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Hildur Guðnadóttir has won her second Grammy Award for her score for Todd Phillips’ Joker in the Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media category. She previously received an Academy Award and Golden Globe for her work on the film. The composer was honored with her first Grammy last year for her music for HBO’s Chernobyl in the same category. In the Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media, Billie Eilish & Finneas won the award for the title song for the James Bond movie No Time to Die. Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, March 15, is the British mini-series Bloodlands created by Chris Brandon, directed by Pete Travis and starring James Nesbitt, Lisa Dwan, Charlene McKenna, Lorcan Cranitch, Ian McElhinney, Lola Petticrew and Chris Walley. The show’s original music is composed by Ruth Barrett (BodyguardCollateralVictoria,  Harry Brown, Sanditon).
