LEE Film Stockholm has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish animated feature The Ape Star (Apstjärnan). The album features the film’s original music composed by Minna Weurlander and Tania Naranjo. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. The Ape Star is directed by Linda Hambäck and features the voices of Pernilla August, Stellan Skarsgård, Melinda Kinnaman and Rebecca Gerstmann. Mister Green Music will release the first-ever soundtrack album for the 2015 crime thriller Criminal Activities. The album features the film’s original music composed by Keefus Ciancia (Killing Eve, As Above, So Below, Diana, The Motel Life, The Devil’s Gate, London Spy, Nashville). La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1989 slasher movie Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan directed by Rob Hedden and starring Jensen Daggett, Scott Reeves, Peter Mark Richman and Kane Hodder. The album features the film’s original music composed and performed by Fred Mollin (Fast Company, Screwballs II) who also co-scored the previous installment in the series (Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood) with Harry Manfredini.
