Paramount Music has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for The Director’s Edition of the 1979 classic Star Trek: The Motion Picture directed by directed by Robert Wise and starring Leonard Nimoy, William Shatner, DeForest Kelley and James Doohan. The album features the film’s complete Academy Award-nominated original score from the film composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, ChinatownPoltergeist, Planet of the Apes, The Mummy, L.A.
