Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album for the Netflix and BBC limited series Collateral. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Ruth Barrett (Harry Brown, Victoria, Hunted, Love, Nina). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Collateral is created by David Hare, directed by S.J. Clarkson and stars Carey Mulligan, John Simm, Nicola Walker and Billie Piper. The 4-parter thriller is set over four days in present-day London and explores the spiraling consequences of the fatal shooting of a pizza delivery man.

Soundtrack Album for NBC’s ‘Rise’ to Be Released
Atlantic Records will release the first full soundtrack album for the NBC drama Rise. The album features the songs from the show’s first season (from the stage musical Spring Awakening with music written by Duncan Sheik and lyrics by Steven Later) performed by cast members including Auli’i Cravalho, Damon J. Gillespie, Amy Forsyth, Ted Sutherland, Ellie Desautels, Erin Kommor and Sean Grandillo. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically tomorrow, May 11 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Rise created by Jason Katims and also starring Josh Radnor, Rosie Perez, Marley Shelton follows a dedicated teacher and family man takes over the school’s lackluster theater department.
’13 Reasons Why’ Season 2 Soundtrack Announced
Interscope Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why. The album features a selection of songs from the show’s second season by artists including a new song by Selena Gomez, which is already available to download, as well as tracks by OneRepublic, YUNGBLUD, Billie Eilish & Khalid, New Order, HAERTS, Lord Huron & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 18 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released two soundtracks featuring the songs and score from the drama’s first season. Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why developed by Brian Yorkey based on books by Jay Asher and starring Dylan Minnette, Katherine Langford, Kate Walsh, Brian D’Arcy James and Derek Luke will premiere on May 18 on Netflix.
Gabriel Mann to Score Netflix’s ‘Prince of Peoria’
Gabriel Mann has signed on to score the upcoming Netflix original series Prince of Peoria. The show is created by Nick Stanton & Devin Bunje (Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything) and stars Gavin Lewis, Theodore Barnes, Shelby Simmons and Cynthia McWilliams. The comedy revolves around a 13-year-old prince from a wealthy island kingdom who travels to the U.S. to live incognito as an exchange student. Stanton and Bunje are also executive producing the project with with Sharla Sumpter Bridgett (The To Do List, A Thousand Words).
Mario Grigorov Scoring Lifetime’s ‘Escaping the Madhouse: The Nellie Bly Story’
Mario Grigorov is scoring the upcoming Lifetime original movie Escaping the Madhouse: The Nellie Bly Story. The film is directed by Karen Moncrieff (The Dead Girl, The Trials of Cate McCall) and stars Christina Ricci, Judith Light and Josh Bowman. The movie follows 19th century pioneering journalist, Elizabeth Cochran Seaman, who published under the name of Nellie Bly, on a mission to expose the deplorable conditions and mistreatment of patients at the notorious Women’s Lunatic Asylum. Helen Childress (Reality Bites) wrote the script.
‘Genius: Picasso’ Soundtrack EP to Be Released
Milan Records will release a new EP for the National Geographic original series Genius. The soundtrack features six tracks from the original music of the show’s second season composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The Lego Batman Movie, The Crown, Pacific Rim Uprising, Terminator Genysis). The EP will be released digitally this Friday, May 11 and will be available to download on Amazon. A full soundtrack album featuring Balfe’s score and Hans Zimmer’s & Balfe’s new main titles theme for Genius: Picasso is in the works. Season 2 of Genius is executive produced by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer and stars Antonio Banderas as Pablo Picasso, as well as Alex Rich, Clémence Poésy, Samantha Colley, T.R. Knight and Seth Gabel.
Ramin Djawadi’s ‘Seven Nation Army’ Cover from ‘Westworld’ Released
WaterTower Music has released the cover version of The White Stripes’ song Seven Nation Army by composer Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Iron Man, A Wrinkle in Time, Pacific Rim) as featured in the last episode of the HBO original series Westworld. Polydor/Island Records will release a new soundtrack album for the German Amazon original series You Are Wanted. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Arne Schumann and Josef Bach, as well as songs by Chester Travis, Ofri Brin, Nicola Fegg, M.M.F.D.V., Nicola Fegg and Madeline Juno. The soundtrack will released digitally overseas on May 18. Check back on this page for the pre-order link. A soundtrack featuring music from the first season has previously been released in early 2017.
John Swihart Scoring Paramount Network’s ‘American Woman’
John Swihart is scoring the new Paramount Network original series American Woman. The show is inspired by the upbringing of Real Housewife of Beverly Hills Kyle Richard and stars Alicia Silverstone, Mena Suvari, Jennifer Bartels, Cheyenne Jackson and James Tupper. The comedy follows an unconventional mom struggling to raise her daughters with the help of her two best friends as they discover their own brand of independence amid the rise of second-wave feminism in the 1970s.
