Dubois Records will release a soundtrack album for the ITV series Stephen. The album features the show’s original music composed by Segun Akinola (Doctor Who, The Last Tree, 9/11: Inside the President’s War Room). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 14 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music stores. Stephen is directed by Alrick Riley, written by Frank Cottrell Boyce & Joe Cottrell Boyce and stars Sharlene Whyte, Steve Coogan, Hugh Quarshie, Jordan Myrie, Sian Brook and Richie Campbell. The 3-part drama executive produced by Jed Mercurio & Paul Greengrass is the sequel to 1999’s TV movie The Murder of Stephen Lawrence and centers on the investigation that secures the convictions of two of the gang who committed the murder of Stephen.

Sarah Warne Scoring ITV’s ‘Hollington Drive’
Sarah Warne (Humans, Des, Dark Money, Time) is currently scoring the upcoming ITV series Hollington Drive. The show is written by Sophie Petzal (Blood) and stars Anna Maxwell Martin, Rachael Stirling, Rhashan Stone, Ken Nwosu, Peter McDonald, Jonas Armstrong and Jodie McNee. The 4-part thriller follows the lives of two sisters whose lives are torn apart when one of the sisters’ child goes missing. Petzal is also executive producing the West Road Pictures production with Jonathan Fisher (Penance, Midsumer Murders).

Nathan Whitehead Scoring Netflix’s ‘Chicago Party Aunt’
Nathan Whitehead (The Purge, Keanu, Days Gone, The Veil, Stephanie, The Remaining) has composed the original score for the new Netflix animated series Chicago Party Aunt. The show is created by Chris Witaske, Jon Barinholtz & Katie Rich and features the voice talent of Lauren Ash, Rory O’Malley, RuPaul Charles, Jill Talley, Ike Barinholtz, Matthew Craig, Bob Odenkirk, Mike Hagerty, as well as Witaske, Jon Barinholtz & Rich themselves. The animated comedy follows the title character, an idolized troublemaker with a talent for avoiding adulthood — and a soft spot for her soul-searching nephew.
Soundtrack Albums for Netflix’s ‘Cocaine Cowboys: The Kings of Miami’ to Be Released
Maisie Music Publishing will release two soundtrack albums for the Netflix docuseries Cocaine Cowboys: The Kings of Miami. The albums include the show’s original music composed by Carlos José Alvarez (Exposed, Of Mind and Music, Locked In, Revolution Rent, Cubamerican). Cocaine Cowboys: The Kings of Miami is directed by Billy Corben who previously helmed the 2006 feature Cocaine Cowboys and tells the story of two childhood friends go who from high school dropouts to the most powerful drug kingpins in Miami.
David Holmes Scoring RTÉ’s & AMC+’s ‘Kin’
David Holmes (Ocean’s Eleven, Out of Sight, Killing Eve, Haywire, No Sudden Move, Analyze That) is the composer of the new Irish TV series Kin. The show is created by Peter McKenna (Red Rock) & Ciarán Donnelly (Harley and the Davidsons, Titanic: Blood and Steel) and stars Charlie Cox, Clare Dunne, Aidan Gillen, Ciarán Hinds, Sam Keeley, Emmett J. Scanlan, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Hannah Adeogun and Yasmin Seky. The crime drama charts the lives of a small but tight-knit crime family embroiled in a war against a powerful drug kingpin.
‘What If… Zombies!?’ Soundtrack Album Details
The details of the soundtrack album for the fifth episode of Marvel Studios’ Disney+ animated series What If…? have been revealed. The album features the original music from the fifth episode (What If… Zombies!?) of the show composed by Emmy Award winner Laura Karpman (Lovecraft Country, Paris Can Wait, Underground, Set It Up, Step, Why We Hate, Black Nativity). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 10 by Marvel Music & Hollywood Records and will be available to stream/download here. Karpman’s music from Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3 & Episode 4 has been released over the last couple of weeks. Episode 5 of What If…? is written by Matthew Chauncey, directed by Bryan Andrews and follows the Avengers as they are infected by a zombie plague and are searching for a cure.

Temporary Residence has announced a soundtrack album for the PBS documentary Big Bend: The Wild Frontier of Texas. The album features the film’s original music composed and performed by the post-rock band Explosions in the Sky (Friday Night Lights, Lone Survivor, Prince Avalanche, Manglehorn). Kris Bowers Scoring Netflix’s ‘Colin in Black and White’
Composer Kris Bowers (Green Book, Bridgerton, Dear White People, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Mrs. America) is reuniting with writer/producer/director Ava DuVernay on the upcoming Netflix limited series Colin in Black and White. The show is created by DuVernay (Selma, A Wrinkle in Time) & athlete/activist Colin Kaepernick (who is also providing the voiceover narration) and stars Jaden Michael, Mary-Louise Parker and Nick Offerman. The 6-part drama explores Kaepernick’s high school years and chronicles what inspired him to risk his livelihood in support of civil rights.
