The full details of the soundtrack album for the sixth episode of Marvel Studios’ Disney+ animated series What If…? have been revealed. The album features the original music from the sixth episode (What If… Killmonger Rescued Tony Stark?) of the show composed by Emmy Award winner Laura Karpman (Lovecraft Country, Underground, Set It Up, Paris Can Wait, Step, Why We Hate, Step Sisters). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 17 by Marvel Music & Hollywood Records and will be available to stream/download here. Karpman’s scores from Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3, Episode 4 and Episode 5 have been released over the last couple of weeks and three more soundtracks featuring the composer’s music from Episodes 7, 8 & 9 will be coming out in the coming weeks.

Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe’ to Be Released
Mattel & Arts Music will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The album features selections of the original score from the first part of the series composed by Michael Kramer (Ninjago, Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, Rhyme Time Town, Valley of Bones). Also included is the theme song The Power Is Ours by Ali Dee. The Vol. 1 soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 17 and will be available to stream/download here. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is developed by Robert David based on the ’80s cartoon classic and features the voice talent of Yuri Lowenthal, Kimberly Brooks, Antony Del Rio, Ben Diskin, Trevor Devall, Grey Griffin, Judy Alice Lee, David Kaye, Tom Kenny, Roger Craig Smith and Fred Tatasciore.
John Enroth & Albert Fox Scoring Paramount+’s ‘The Harper House’
John Enroth & Albert Fox (The Last Man on Earth, Tiger King, Regular Show) are co-scoring the new Paramount+ original series The Harper House. Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The LEGO Movie, 21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) is producing the composers’ music for the show, which is created by Brad Neely (China, IL) and features the voices of Rhea Seehorn, Jason Lee, Ryan Flynn and Tatiana Maslany. The adult animated comedy follows an overconfident female head of a household as she struggles to regain a higher status for herself and for her family after losing her job and moving from the rich side to the poor side of a small town in Arkansas.
Atli Örvarsson Scoring CBS’ ‘FBI: International’
Atli Örvarsson (The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Defending Jacob, The Edge of Seventeen, Vantage Point, Eurovision Song Contest, The Eagle) is the composer of the new CBS drama FBI: International. The third iteration of the network’s FBI franchise is created by Derek Haas (3:10 to Yuma, Wanted) and stars Luke Kleintank, Heida Reed, Carter Redwood, Vinessa Vidotto and Christiane Paul. The series follows the elite operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s International Fly Team as they travel the world with the mission of tracking and neutralizing threats against American citizens.
Theme Song from Netflix’s ‘Blood & Water’ Released
Maisie Music Publishing has released the theme song from the South African Netflix original series Blood & Water. The track is written by Mr Kamera (with lyrics by Rutendo Maregere) and performed by FYRA and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Blood & Water is co-written and directed by Nosipho Dumisa and stars Ama Qamata, Khosi Ngema, Gail Mabalane, Thabang Molaba, Dillon Windvogel, Natasha Thahane, Arno Greeff and Xolile Tshabalala. The mystery drama follows a Cape Town teen who sets out to prove whether a private-school swimming star is her sister who was abducted at birth.
‘The North Water’ Soundtrack Album Released
Lakeshore Records and INVADA Records have released a soundtrack album for The North Water. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by electronic music artist Tim Hecker (The Free World). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. A vinyl edition is also in the works for a release in early 2022. The North Water is developed by Andrew Haigh based on Ian McGuirand’s best-selling novel of the same title and stars Jack O’Connell, Colin Farrell, Peter Mullan, Stephen Graham, Sam Spruell and Roland Møller. The 5-parter is set in Hull, England, and on the ice floes of the Arctic in the late 1850s and tells the story of a disgraced ex-army surgeon who signs up as the ship’s doctor on a whaling expedition to the Arctic.
‘Dear White People’ Vol. 4 (The Final Season) Soundtrack Album Details
Milan Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Dear White People. The album the songs from the show’s fourth and final season produced by series composer Kris Bowers (Green Book, Bridgerton, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Mrs. America, Respect, When They See Us) and performed by cast members including Logan Browning, John Patrick Amedori, Marque Richardson, Ashley Featherson, Brandon P. Bell, Joi Collier, Quei Tann, Brandon Black & others. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 22 and is now available for pre-order here. A first song (Together All the Way) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. Columbia Records has previously released the soundtracks for the show’s first two seasons and Lionsgate Records has released an album featuring Bowers’ score from the first three seasons.
Will Bates Scoring Peacock’s ‘Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol’
Will Bates (Unbelievable, The Magicians, The Path, I Origins, Away, The Looming Tower, Another Earth) has been tapped to score the new Peacock original series Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol. The show is developed by Dan Dworkin & Jay Beattie based on Dan Brown’s best-selling novel of the same title and stars Ashley Zukerman, Valorie Curry, Sumalee Montano, Rick Gonzalez, Eddie Izzard and Beau Knapp. The drama follows the early adventures of young Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon who must solve a series of deadly puzzles to save his kidnapped mentor and thwart a chilling global conspiracy.
‘Outlier’ Soundtrack Album Released
Dreamscore Records has released a soundtrack album for Outlier. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Raymond Enoksen (Atlantic Crossing, Haunted, Ice Road Rescue). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Outlier is created by Arne Berggren & Kristine Berg and stars Hanne Mathisen Haga, Benjamin Noble and Anethe Alfsvåg. The 8-part thriller follows an acclaimed young academic in London who specializes in profiling serial killers who heads back to her hometown in the Norwegian wilderness to investigate the murder of a young women and to track down the killer.
‘Just Like Heaven’ Cover from Fox’s ‘The Big Leap’ Released
Hollywood Records has released the cover version of The Cure’s Just Like Heaven from the new Fox comedy drama The Big Leap. The song is produced by composer Joe Wong (The Midnight Gospel, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Russian Doll) and performed by Eryn Allen Kane.
