Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Disneynature documentary Elephant. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Iron Man, Clash of the Titans, Pacific Rim, A Wrinkle in Time). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 3 and will be available to stream and download on Amazon Music. Elephant is directed by Mark Linfield (Monkey Kingdom, Chimpanzee), co-directed by Vanessa Berlowitz & Alastair Fothergill (Planet Earth, Penguins) and narrated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex. The movie follows African elephant Shani and her spirited son Jomo as their herd make an epic journey hundreds of miles across the vast Kalahari Desert.

Premiering tonight is the AMC original series Dispatches from Elsewhere created by Jason Segel and starring Segel himself, André Benjamin, Sally Field, Octavio Coleman, Richard E. Grant and Eve Lindley. The show’s original music is composed by Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, Watchmen, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Leopold Ross & Claudia Sarne (The Book of Eli, Triple 9, Broken City). Premiering tomorrow, March 2 is the FX original series Breeders created by Simon Blackwell ,Chris Addison & Martin Freeman and starring Freeman himself, Daisy Haggard, George Wakeman, Jayda Eyles, Michael McKean, Joanna Bacon and Alun Armstrong. Oli Julian (Sex Education, Catastrophe, Episodes, Plebs) is composing the show’s original music. Apple TV+’s ‘Amazing Stories’ to Feature Music by Harry Gregson-Williams, Ramin Djawadi, Mark Isham & Others
The full composer line-up of the first episodes of Apple TV+’s reboot of the anthology series Amazing Stories has been revealed. Nicholas Pike (Critters 2, Return to Me, Captain Ron) has scored the first episode, The Cellar (premiering on March 6), directed by Chris Long (The Americans) and starring Victoria Pedretti and Dylan O’Brien. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Iron Man) & Brandon Campbell (Slender Man, The Thinning) have co-scored the second episode, The Heat (premiering on March 13), directed by Sylvain White (Stomp the Yard, The Losers) and starring E’myri Crutchfield, Hailey Kilgore and Shane Paul McGhie. Episode 3, entitled Dynoman and the Volt (premiering on March 20), directed by Susanna Fogel (The Spy Who Dumped Me) and starring Robert Forster & Tyler Crumley is scored by Noah Sorota (Falling Skies, Jinn).
Ramin Djawadi’s ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ Cover from ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Released
WaterTower Records has released the cover version of Guns N’ Roses’ Sweet Child O’ Mine by Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Iron Man, Pacific Rim, Jack Ryan) from the third season of the HBO original series Westworld. Hildur Guðnadóttir has won her first Emmy Award for her score for the episode Please Remain Calm of the HBO limited series Chernobyl in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited Series, Movie or a Special category at tonight’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony at the Microsoft Theatre LA LIVE in Downtown Los Angeles. In the Original Main Title Theme Music category, Nicholas Britell received his first Emmy Award for his main titles theme from HBO’s Succession. Ramin Djawadi was honored with his second Primetime Emmy Award for his score for the episode The Long Night from HBO’s Game of Thrones in the Music Composition for a Series category.

The movie follows the adventure of Rex, the British monarch’s most beloved dog, who loses track of his mistress and stumbles across a fight club with dogs of all kinds confronting each other.
‘Game of Thrones’ Season 8 Soundtrack Released

The album features selections of the show’s eight and final season composed by Ramin Djawadi (Pacific Rim, Iron Man, Westworld, A Wrinkle in Time, Clash of the Titans) who received his first Emmy Award for his work on the drama last year. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. A 2-CD version is set to be released on July 19 and is available for pre-order here. Game of Thrones is created by David Benioff & D.B. Weiss based on the novels by George R. R. Ramin Djawadi to Score ‘The Queen’s Corgi’
Ramin Djawadi has been tapped to score the upcoming animated feature The Queen’s Corgi. The film is directed by Ben Stassen & Vincent Kesteloot and features the voice talent of Jack Whitehall, Julie Walters, Ray Winstone, Sheridan Smith, Matt Lucas and Tom Courtenay. The movie follows the adventure of Rex, the British monarch’s most beloved dog, who loses track of his mistress and stumbles across a fight club with dogs of all kinds confronting each other. Rob Sprackling & Johnny Smith (Gnomeo & Juliet) have written the screenplay. Stassen is also producing the project for his nWave Pictures production company.
Johann Johannsson Named Film Composer of the Year at 2018 World Soundtrack Awards
Johann Johannsson was named Film Composer of the Year at the 18th World Soundtrack Awards, tonight’s closing event of the 45th Ghent Film Festival. Among the late composer’s final scores released over the last year were Mandy, Mary Magdalene (co-scored with Hildur Guðnadóttir who accepted the award on his behalf) and The Mercy. He previously received the award last year in the same category. Tamar-kali received her first World Soundtrack Award in the Discovery of the Year category for her score from Dee Rees’ drama Mudbound. Ramin Djawadi was honored as TV Composer of the year for his work on HBO’s Game of Thrones & Westworld and FX’s The Strain. The Public Choice Award went to composer Laurent Eyquem for his score for Mark Pellington’s Nostalgia.
