Ramin Djawadi has been tapped to score the upcoming animated feature The Queen’s Corgi. The film is directed by Ben Stassen & Vincent Kesteloot and features the voice talent of Jack Whitehall, Julie Walters, Ray Winstone, Sheridan Smith, Matt Lucas and Tom Courtenay. The movie follows the adventure of Rex, the British monarch’s most beloved dog, who loses track of his mistress and stumbles across a fight club with dogs of all kinds confronting each other. Rob Sprackling & Johnny Smith (Gnomeo & Juliet) have written the screenplay. Stassen is also producing the project for his nWave Pictures production company. Djawadi has previously collaborated with Stassen on Fly Me to the Moon 3D, both A Turtle’s Tale movies, African Safari and The Wild Life. The Queen’s Corgi is set to be released in the UK on July 5, 2019. No word yet on a domestic release.

Djawadi also continues to score HBO’s Game of Thrones (set to return for its final season next year) and Westworld, as well as Amazon’s Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan.
