J-2 Music will release a new soundtrack album for the NBC drama Parenthood. The album includes songs featured in the show by artists including Delta Rae, Lyle Lovett, CeeLo Green, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Glen Hansard, A Fine Frenzy, Emile Millar and more. Check out the full track list and audio clips after the jump. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 8, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Scion Music Group has previously released a soundtrack for the show in 2010 (click here to download the album). Parenthood starring Lauren Graham, Mae Whitman, Miles Heizer, Craig T. Nelson and Bonnie Bedelia returned for its fifth season last week and will air every Thursday night on NBC.

Bear McCreary (The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica) is scoring the show weekly with a full orchestra. James S. Levine Scoring NBC’s ‘Ironside’
James S. Levine is scoring the new NBC cop drama Ironside. The show created by Michael Caleo (The Family, Rescue Me, The Sopranos) is a remake of the classic Golden Globe- and Emmy Award-nominated drama starring Raymond Burr, which aired from 1967 to 1975 and featured a theme by Quincy Jones. The series stars Blair Underwood in the title role as a tough detective who is relegated to a wheelchair after a shooting but continues to pursue difficult cases. Brent Sexton, Pablo Schreiber, Spencer Grammer, Neal Bledsoe and Kenneth Choi are co-starring. Caleo is also executive producing the Universal Television, Yellow Brick Road Productions and Davis Entertainment production with Teri Weinberg (Ugly Betty, The Tudors), John Davis (Predator series, Waterworld, I Robot), John Fox, Ron West (Man Up) and David Semel (No Ordinary Family).
Gabriel Mann to Score The CW’s ‘Star-Crossed’ and NBC’s ‘Welcome to the Family’
Gabriel Mann has been hired to score the upcoming CW drama Star-Crossed. The show is created by Meredith Averill (The Good Wife, Life on Mars) and stars Aimee Teegarden, Matt Lanter, Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin, Jr., Chelsea Gilligan and Greg Finley. The series chronicles the epic romance between a human girl and an alien boy when he and eight others of his kind are integrated into a suburban high school. Averill is also executive producing the CBS Television Studios and Warner Bros. Television production with Josh Appelbaum & Andre Nemec (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol), Scott Rosenberg (October Road) Bryan Furst & Sean Furst (Daybreakers), Daniel Gutman and Richard Shehard (The Matador, The Hunting Party, Ringer).
‘Revolution’ Soundtrack Details
WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the NBC hit series Revolution. The album features selections of the original score from the first season of the show composed by Christopher Lennertz (Identity Thief, Hop, Horrible Bosses, Supernatural). Also included is the opening theme composed by executive producer J.J. Abrams. The soundtrack will be released on September 3, 2013. Audio clips are available after the jump. Revolution created by Eric Kripke and starring Billy Burke, Tracy Spiridako, Anna Lise Phillips, Elizabeth Mitchell, Zak Orth and Giancarlo Esposito follows a family who struggles to reunite in a post-apocalyptic American landscape. The show’s first season will also be released on September 3 on Blu-ray and DVD and the second season is set to premiere on Wednesday, September 25.
Trevor Morris to Score NBC’s ‘Dracula’
Trevor Morris has signed on to score the upcoming NBC drama Dracula. The show is created by Daniel Knauf (Carnivàle) and stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jessica De Gouw, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Katie McGrath, Thomas Kretschmann and Nonso Anozie. The series is set in 1890s London and follows Dracula as he arrives in Town posing as an American entrepreneur who maintains that he wants to bring modern science to Victorian society, but hopes to wreak revenge on the people who ruined his life centuries earlier. Knauf is also executive producing the NBC Universal Television production with Tony Krantz (24, Sports Night), Colin Callender and Gareth Neame (Downton Abbey). Steve Shill (Obsessed) who previously helmed numerous episodes of the Rhys Meyers-starring and Morris-scored The Tudors directed the pilot episode.
John Paesano to Score ‘The Maze Runner’
John Paesano has signed on to score the upcoming sci-fi mystery drama The Maze Runner. The movie is based on the bestselling young adult novel by James Dashner and is set in a post-apocalyptic era where a group of teenage boys trapped in an enormous maze seek their freedom. The film is directed by Wes Ball and stars Dylan O’Brien, Will Poulter, Patricia Clarkson, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Jacob Lattimore, Ki Hong Lee, Blake Cooper and Aml Ameen. Noah Oppenheim wrote the screenplay for the Temple Hill Entertainment and the Gotham Group production. The movie marks Paesano’s first major studio feature film project. The Maze Runner is set to be released on February 14, 2014 by 20th Century Fox.
