The details of the official soundtrack album for Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Secret Service have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, X-Men: First Class, Wreck-It-Ralph, Big Hero 6) and Matthew Margeson (Kick-Ass 2, Skyline). The soundtrack will be released on February 17, 2015 by La-La Land Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Kingsman: The Secret Service is based on the comic book by Mark Millar & Dave Gibbons and stars Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Caine, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong and Jack Davenport. The movie centers on a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency’s training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.

Four new movies opened nationwide on Christmas Day:
Opening in most theaters is the drama Unbroken directed by Angelina Jolie and starring Jack O’Connell, Domhnall Gleeson, Miyavi, Garrett Hedlund and Finn Wittrock. The film’s original music is composed by Alexandre Desplat (The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Queen, The Grand Budapest Hotel). Parlophone Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music, as well as the original song Miracles performed by Coldplay. Also opening wide is the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Into the Woods directed by Rob Marshall and starring Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, James Corden, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, Tracey Ullman, Christine Baranski and Johnny Depp. The movie features songs composed by Stephen Sondheim (Sweeney Todd). The full details of the soundtrack album for Disney’s animated feature Big Hero 6 have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Wreck-It-Ralph, X-Men: First Class, Winnie the Pooh), as well as the original song Immortals performed by Fall Out Boy, which has also been released as a single this week and is now available to download here. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 4, 2014. A physical version will be coming out on November 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Big Hero 6 is directed by Don Hall & Chris Williams and features the voice talent of of Ryan Potter, Scott Adsit, T.J. Miller, Jaime Chung, Damon Wayans, Jr., Genesis Rodriguez, Maya Ruldoph, James Cromwell, Daniel Henney and Alan Tudyk.

Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ feature Big Hero 6. The album features the film’s original music composed by Henry Jackman (Wreck-It-Ralph, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, X-Men: First Class, Puss in Boots), as well as the end title track Immortals performed by Fall Out Boy. The song is featured in the New York Comic-Con Sizzle that was shown to fans earlier this week and is embedded after the jump. The soundtrack will be released physically on November 24, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A digital release is expected to be available in early November. Henry Jackman to Return for Marvel’s ‘Captain America 3’
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo have confirmed in a recent interview with Comicbook.com that Henry Jackman will return to score Marvel Studios’ Captain America 3. Chris Evans is returning to star in the title role as Steve Roger in the currently untitled sequel. Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (The Chronicles of Narnia series, Thor: The Dark World) who penned the previous installment in the series are writing the screenplay. No plot details have been announced yet. Kevin Feige (The Avengers, Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy) is once again producing the project for Marvel. Jackman previously scored this year’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier for the Russo brothers while the first Captain America movie directed by Joe Johnston was scored by Alan Silvestri.

Vaughn and Jane Goldman (The Debt, The Woman in Black) have co-written the screenplay and the director is also producing the project with David Reid & Adam Bohling (Layer Cake).

Mica Levi from the experimental pop music band Micachu and the Shape has composed the film’s original music. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring Levi’s score earlier this week. Henry Jackman to Score Disney’s ‘Big Hero 6’
Henry Jackman has been tapped to score the upcoming animated feature Big Hero 6. The action comedy adventure directed by Don Hall & Chris Williams (Bolt) is inspired by the Marvel comics of the same title. The movie follows a brilliant robotics prodigy who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. The Big Hero 6 characters first appeared in 1998 and Marvel later on released a series of six comics featuring the team in 2008. TJ Miller has recently been announced as part of the film’s voice cast. Roy Conli (Tangled, Treasure Planet) is producing the Walt Disney Animation Studios production and John Lasseter is executive producing the project.

The details have been revealed of the soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ sequel Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The sequel is set after the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers and follows Steve Rogers/Captain America as he is living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world.
