A24 Music has released a new remix by Instupendo of the score track Old Home Not Yet Built from the supernatural horror movie Backrooms. The Instupendo Remix written by Kane Parsons, Instupendo & Samuel Davidson and produced by Instupendo, Parsons & Edo Van Breemen is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services. Also listen to the track after the jump. The original soundtrack album featuring Parson’s & Van Breemen’s original score was released digitally last month and a vinyl edition is now also available to order. The label has also previously released Instupendo: Live From The Backrooms (DJ Mix) inspired by the film. Backrooms is directed by Parsons and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Finn Bennett, Mark Duplass and Lukita Maxwell.

‘Backrooms’ Vinyl Edition Soundtrack Album Announced
A24 Music has announced the premiere vinyl edition of the soundtrack album for Kane Parson’s supernatural horror movie Backrooms starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Finn Bennett, Mark Duplass and Lukita Maxwell. The 2-LP set featuring the film’s original score composed by Parsons himself and Edo Van Breemen (The Monkey, Keeper, Air, Afflicted, Hollow in the Land, The Backward Class) is pressed on black vinyl and is expected to ship this August. The album is now available to order on A24’s official website, where you can also find out more details. The label has previously the digital version of the soundtrack last Friday.

The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 29 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the first track below. Backrooms is directed by Kane Parsons based on his YouTube series of the same title and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett and Lukita Maxwell. The movie is set in 1990 and follows a furniture salesman as he makes a startling discovery in the basement of his showroom – a portal, bathed in yellow fluorescent lights and littered with familiar objects, leading to an eerie maze of endless office space.

The film is directed by Parsons based on his YouTube series of the same name and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Lukita Maxwell and Finn Bennett. The movie revolves around a strange doorway that appears in the basement of a furniture showroom. Will Soodik wrote the screenplay.

Edo Van Breemen (Air, Afflicted, Hollow in the Land,The Backward Class) has composed the original music for the upcoming horror thriller Keeper. The film is directed by Osgood Perkins (Longlegs, Gretel & Hansel) and stars Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland. The movie follows a young woman on a romantic anniversary weekend with her boyfriend at a secluded cabin who finds herself isolated and in the presence of an unspeakable evil when her partner unexpectedly returns to the city. Nick Lepard (Dangerous Animals) wrote the screenplay.
‘The Track’ Soundtrack Released
Vogel Records has released a soundtrack album for the Canadian documentary The Track. The album features the film’s original music composed by Johannes Winkler (Brats, Perla) & Edo Van Breemen (The Monkey, Air, Afflicted, Hollow in the Land). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. The Track is directed by Ryan Sidhoo and tells the coming-of-age story of three Muslim teen boys chasing their improbable Olympic dreams on a decaying luge track from the 1984 Winter Olympics, set against the backdrop of post-war Sarajevo.
