The show is co-created by Oprah Winfrey & Prince Harry who guide honest discussions about mental health and emotional well-being while opening up about their mental health journeys and struggles. The 5-parter directed by Dawn Porter (The Way I See It, John Lewis: Good Trouble) & Asif Kapadia (The Return, The Warrior) features guests including Lady Gaga, Glenn Close, Phoenix Suns’ Langston Galloway, San Antonio Spurs’ DeMar DeRozan, and others, alongside a wide range of people from across the globe living with the challenges of mental health issues and addressing their emotional well-being.

‘Nine Days’ Soundtrack Album Details
Warner Classics will release a soundtrack album for the drama Nine Days. The album features the film’s original music composed by Antonio Pinto (City of God, McFarland, USA, The Mosquito Coast, Lord of War, Amy, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, Senna). The soundtrack is set to be released digitally and physically on July 9, 2021 (click here to stream/download the album). The CD version will be available to order on Amazon within the next few weeks. Nine Days is written and directed by Edson Oda and stars Winston Duke, Zazie Beetz, Benedict Wong, Tony Hale, Bill Skarsgård, David Rysdahl and Arianna Ortiz. The movie follows a reclusive man who is conducting a series of interviews with human souls for a chance to be born.

Fremantle Media will release a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series The Mosquito Coast. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Antonio Pinto (City of God, Amy, McFarland, USA, Senna, Lord of War, Nine Days, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 30 and will be available to stream/download here. The Mosquito Coast is developed by Neil Cross & Tom Bissell and stars Justin Theroux, Melissa George, Logan Polish and Gabriel Bateman. The drama based on the best-selling novel by Paul Theroux tells the story of a radical idealist and brilliant inventor who uproots his family for Mexico when they suddenly find themselves on the run from the US government.

Antonio Pinto (City of God, McFarland, USA, Amy, Lord of War, Senna, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind), Gabriel Ferreira & Felipe Kim (The Mechanism) have composed the original score for the new Netflix original documentary Pelé. The film is directed by David Tryhorn & Ben Nicholas and tells the story of iconic footballer Pelé, his quest for perfection and the mythical status he attained. The movie, which features interviews with Pelé himself, Zagallo, Rivellino, Juca Kfouri & Gilberto Gil, looks back at the extraordinary 12-year period in which the football player, the only man to win three World Cup titles, went from young superstar in 1958 to national hero in 1970.

Antonio Pinto (City of God, McFarland, USA, Amy, Lord of War, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind) is attached to score the upcoming drama Aleppo. The film will be directed by David Schurmann and tells the story of a U.N. journalist who teams up with a Syrian boy refugee as they attempt to escape Syria in order to survive. Olivia Munn is attached to star in the MiLu Entertainment production. Beto Dantas wrote the screenplay.

The movie tells the true story of a Oregonian father’s walk across the US to raise awareness about the harms of bullying. Dana Ossana & Larry McMurtry (Brokeback Mountain, The Last Picture Show) have written the screenplay.

Opening in most theaters is the sci-fi drama Ad Astra directed by James Gray and starring Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler and Donald Sutherland. The film’s original music is composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir). Deutsche Grammophon has released a digital single featuring a track of the composer’s score (click here for more details). Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The Lego Batman Movie) is credited as additional music composer (click here to listen to a track from Balfe’s score).
Also opening wide is the action movie Rambo: Last Blood directed by Adrian Grunberg and starring Sylvester Stallone, Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Adrianna Barraza, Yvette Monreal, Genie Kim, Joaquin Cosio and Oscar Jaenada. Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious, Crazy Rich Asians) who has previously scored 2008’s Rambo has composed the film’s original music.
