Premiering tonight is the HBO original series House of the Dragon created by George R.R. Martin & Ryan Condal and starring Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best and Rhys Ifans. The show’s original music is composed by Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Iron Man, Westworld, Eternals, Pacific Rim, Uncharted). WaterTower Music has released a first track from the composer’s score this past Thursday. Click here to listen to the track and to learn more about the fantasy drama, which will air Sundays on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.

Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, August 22, is the British miniseries Anne written by Kevin Sampson and starring Maxine Peake, Stephen Walters, Lily Shepherd, Steve Williams, Bobby Schofield and Clare Calbraith. Samuel Sim (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, Domina, The Spanish Princess, The Halcyon, Home Fires) has composed the show’s original music. Soundtrack Album for Acorn TV’s & Channel 4’s ‘Dalgliesh’ Released

All3Media has released a soundtrack album for the Acorn TV/Channel 4 series Dalgliesh. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Andrew Simon McAllister (37 Days, The Secret, The Devil’s Doorway, Nowhere Special, Agatha and the Truth of Murder). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Dalgliesh is based on P.D. James’ best-selling Inspector Dalgliesh Mysteries and stars Bertie Carvel, Jeremy Irvine and Carlyss Peer The crime drama follows Dalgliesh’s career to present day as he solves unusual murders and reveals buried secrets.

Anne Dudley Scoring Acorn TV’s ‘Signora Volpe’

Anne Dudley (The Crying Game, The Full Monty, Poldark, American History X, The Hustle, Benedetta) is the composer of the new Acorn TV series Signora Volpe. The show is created by Rachel Cuperman & Sally Griffiths and stars Emilia Fox, Tara Fitzgerald, Giovanni Cirfieran, Jamie Bamber and Mehdi Meskar. The drama revolves around a disillusioned British spy turned detective who heads off to visit her sister in Italy and becomes involved in a murder investigation when her sister’s daughter’s fiancé disappears and a dead body is found near his house.

‘The Chelsea Detective’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Acorn TV series The Chelsea Detective. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Ian Arber (Medici, The Capture, My Name Is Lenny, The One, After the Screaming Stops, I Am Bolt). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, March 25 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Chelsea Detective  is created and co-written by Peter Fincham and stars Adrian Scarborough as DI Max Arnold and Sonita Henry as DI Priya Shamsie. The 4-part drama produced by BBC Studios-backed Expectation follows the title character as he investigates a series of murders in Chelsea and finds himself embroiled in explosive family politics. .

‘Outlier’ Soundtrack Album Released

Dreamscore Records has released a soundtrack album for Outlier. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Raymond Enoksen (Atlantic Crossing, Haunted, Ice Road Rescue). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Outlier is created by Arne Berggren & Kristine Berg and stars Hanne Mathisen Haga, Benjamin Noble and Anethe Alfsvåg. The 8-part thriller follows an acclaimed young academic in London who specializes in profiling serial killers who heads back to her hometown in the Norwegian wilderness to investigate the murder of a young women and to track down the killer.

Premiering tonight is the HBO limited series Scenes from a Marriage written and directed by Hagai Levi and starring Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac. The show’s original music is composed by Evgueni Galperine & Sacha Galperine (The Undoing, Radioactive, The Family, Nine Lives, Loveless, Gagarine, Wizard of Lies) a. Also premiering today is the Showtime original series American Rust created by Dan Futterman based on the novel of the same title by Philipp Meyer and starring Jeff Daniels, Maura Tierney, Bill Camp, Alex Neustaedter, David Alvarez, Julia Mayorga, Mark Pellegrino and Rob Yang. Marty Beller (In Treatment, Korengal, Gracepoint, Another Gay Movie, Gypsy 83) is composing the show’s original music. Ffin Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Welsh series Hidden (aka Craith). The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Victoria Ashfield, Samuel Barnes, John Hardy & Benjamin Talbott. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring selections from the first season back in 2018. Hidden is created by Mark Andrew & Ed Talfan and stars Sian Reese-William, Rhodri Meilir, Gwyneth Keyworth and Sion Alun Davie. The crime drama follows a police detective who is drawn back to her childhood home by the faltering health of her father and finds herself policing the precinct and people of her youth.

Soundtrack Album for AcornTV’s ‘Ms. Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries’ to Be Released

The first-ever soundtrack album has been announced for the Acorn TV series Ms. Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Burkhard Dallwitz (The Truman Show, The Way Back), Brett Aplin (The Bureau of Magical Things) and Dmitri Golovko (Red Hill, The Gloaming). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 25 and is now available for pre-order here. Ms. Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries is created by Deb Cox & Fiona Eagger and stars Geraldine Hakewill, Joel Jackson, Catherine McClements, James Mason and Toby Truslove, The drama is a spin-off to the Australian mystery series Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and revolves around Phryne Fisher’s long-lost niece, Peregrine, as she decides to follow in her stylish footsteps as a lady detective for a new era.

Premiering tonight is the third season of the Starz anthology series The Girlfriend Experience written and directed by Anja Marquardt (based on Steven Soderbergh’s feature of the same title) and starring Julia Goldani Telles. Matthew Pusti (A Good Woman Is Hard to Find, Whistleblower) has composed the original music for Season 3 and follows Shane Carruth and the Mondo Boys who scored the first two seasons. The third season, which is set amidst the London tech scene and follows a neuroscience major who begins to explore the transactional world of The Girlfriend Experience, only to find herself deep inside the uncanny valley with the relationships she creates, will air Sunday nights on Starz.

Premiering on Tuesday, May 4, is Lucasfilm’s Disney+ original series Star Wars: The Bad Batch created by Dave Filoni and starring Dee Bradley Baker, Ming-Na Wen, Stephen Stanton and Andrew Kishino. The show’s original music is composed by Kevin Kiner (Narcos: Mexico, Doom Patrol, CSI: Miami, Titans, City on a Hill, Making a Murderer) who previously scored all episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (and the feature of the same title) and Star Wars Rebels. Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, March 15, is the British mini-series Bloodlands created by Chris Brandon, directed by Pete Travis and starring James Nesbitt, Lisa Dwan, Charlene McKenna, Lorcan Cranitch, Ian McElhinney, Lola Petticrew and Chris Walley. The show’s original music is composed by Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, Collateral, Victoria,  Harry Brown, Sanditon). Premiering on Wednesday, March 17, is the Netflix documentary Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal  directed by Chris Smith and written by Jon Karmen about Rick Singer, the man at the center of the shocking 2019 college admissions scandal. Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Soul, Watchmen, Mank), Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli, Dispatches from Elsewhere) & Nick Chuba have composed the film’s original score.
