Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for Damien Chazelle’s upcoming epic Babylon. The trailer features the original music track Voodoo Mama written by the film’s Academy Award-winning composer Justin Hurwitz (La La Land, Whiplash, First Man). Film Fest Gent has announced the new album Mark Isham – Music for Film. The album features music by the guest of honor of this year’s World Soundtrack Awards, including studio recordings of concert suites from the composer’s scores for A River Runs Through It (for which he received his first Academy Award nomination), 42, American Crime, The Black Dahlia, Eight Below and this year’s The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, selections from Isham’s music from Judas and the Black Messiah and The Moderns & more. ‘Cobra Kai’ Season 5 Soundtrack Album Details

La-La Land Records has announced the details of the latest soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Cobra Kai. The album features the original music from the show’s fifth season composed by Leo Birenberg (Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, PEN15, Son of Zorn) & Zach Robinson (Good Sam, F*&% the Prom, Impractical Jokers: The Movie). The 2-CD set, which includes thirteen bonus tracks exclusive to the CD version, will be available to order on the label’s official website at noon today. Netflix has announced that Ryuichi Sakamoto (The Last Emperor, The Revenant, Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, Little Buddha, Snake Eyes) is contributing the original music to the streamer’s upcoming sci-fi horror anime series exception. The show is based on a story by Hirotaka Adachi and features the voices of Nolan North, Robbie Daymond, Ali Hillis, Eugene Byrd and Nadine Nicole in the English language version and Chikahiro Kobayashi, Takahiro Sakurai, Yuko Kaida, Takanori Hoshino and Atsumi Tanezaki in the Japanese version. ‘The Woman King’ Soundtrack Album Details

The full details of the soundtrack album for the historical epic The Woman King have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee Terence Blanchard (BlacKkKlansman, Malcolm X, 25th Hour, Harriet, Red Tails, Perry Mason, Da 5 Bloods, Inside Man), as well as vocal contributions from South African producer, composer & singer Lebo M and Grammy Award winner Dianne Reeves. Also included is the original song Keep Rising by Jessy Wilson feat. Angélique Kidjo (already out now as a digital single). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 16 by Milan Records and is now available for pre-order here. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter & Daniel Davies who previously co-scored the 2018 Halloween film and last year’s sequel Halloween Kills. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 14, 2022 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Neon announced today that composer Antonio Pinto (City of God, Nine Days, McFarland, USA, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, Lord of War) is set to reteam with director Asif Kapadia on the upcoming documentary thriller 2073. The film is inspired by Chris Marker’s 1962 experimental sci-fi movie La Jetée and centers on the challenges humanity will face in a dystopian future 50 years from now.
