Electronic music artist Tim Hecker (The North Water, The Free World, Luzifer) has composed the original music for the upcoming sci-fi horror thriller Infinity Pool. The film is written and directed by Brandon Cronenberg (Possessor, Antiviral) and stars Alexander Skarsgård, Mia Goth and Cleopatra Coleman. The movie follows a couple enjoying a perfect vacation at an isolated island resort, when they venture outside the resort grounds and find themselves in a culture filled with violence, hedonism and untold horror. Lionsgate Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Starz original series Step Up. The album features thirteen songs from the third season of the show performed by cast members Ne-Yo (who stars as Sage Odom), Terrence Green (Rigo Octavio), Christina Milian (Collette Jones) and Terayle (Marquise Howard). Also included is a score suite by Stephanie Economou & EmmoLei Sankofa (previously released as a digital single). The show is developed by Malcolm D. Millennium Media Records will release the official soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Offering. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, Sinister, Ghost Rider, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Drag Me to Hell, The Shipping News). The soundtrack will be released digitally on January 13, 2023 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi epic Avatar: The Way of Water  directed by James Cameron and starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Kate Winslet and Sigourney Weaver. The film’s original music is composed by Simon Franglen (The Magnificent Seven, Pandora: The World of Avatar, Notre-Dame on Fire). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score and two original songs performed by The Weeknd and Saldana (click here for the full album details).
