Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka) (Lion, All Quiet on the Western Front, Adrift, Hotel Mumbai, The Old Guard, Patrick Melrose) is scoring the upcoming comedy drama Jules. The film is directed by Marc Turtletaub (producer of Little Miss Sunshine, The Farewell) and stars Ben Kingsley, Jane Curtin, Harriet Harris and ZoĆ« Winters revolves around an unusual and unexpected visitor who brings together several people living in a small city in rural Western Pennsylvania. Gavin Steckler wrote the screenplay. Turtletaub is also producing the project with Debbie Liebling (Plus One, Pen15), Andy Daly (Review) and Michael B. Clark (The Miseducation of Cameron Post, Miss Stevens). Turtletaub’s last directorial effort, Puzzle, featured a score by regular Bertelmann collaborator Dustin O’Halloran. Jules is expected to premiere this year.
