Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the film adaptation of Judy Blume’s classic novel Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret written and directed by Kelly Fremon Craig and starring Abby Ryder Fortson, Rachel McAdams and Kathy Bates. The film’s original music is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Dune, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, Inception). No soundtrack album has been announced yet. Also opening wide is the biographical drama Big George Foreman directed by George Tillman Jr. and starring Khris Davis, Jasmine Mathews, Sullivan Jones, John Magaro, Lawrence Gilliard Jr. and Sonja Sohn. Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, Emancipation, The Affair, Wonder, Enough Said, The Good Shepherd, Ray Donovan) has composed the film’s original music. Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today.
