WaterTower Music has released the second track from the soundtrack for the action fantasy adventure Mortal Kombat II. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Techno Syndrome (Mortal Kumbia Version), a new version of the Olivier Adams-composed theme song from the 90s game by Mexico City-based artist Amantes del Futuro. Also listen to the track and check out the official music video after the jump. The label has previously released a new remix of the theme (feat. Ed Boon) earlier this month and will release a full soundtrack featuring Benjamin Wallfisch’s original score from the film next month. Mortal Kombat II is directed by Simon McQuoid and stars Karl Urban, Adeline Rudolph, Josh Lawson, Mehcad Brooks, Jessica McNamee, Lewis Tan, Tati Gabrielle, Ludi Lin, Damon Herriman, Tadanobu Asano, Chin Han, Joe Taslim and Hiroyuki Sanada. The sequel will be released in theaters nationwide on May 8 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
