‘Gran Turismo’ Music Team Credits Revealed

The full music team credits for the movie adaptation of the video game series Gran Turismo directed by Neill Blomkamp and starring David Harbour, Archie Madekwe, Orlando Bloom and Djimon Hounsou have been revealed. Andrew Kawczynski (The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Sky Hunter, The Corrupted) who has previously provided additional music to Blomkamp’s Chappie has joined Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, Top Gun: Maverick, His Dark Materials) to co-score the film. Several composers known for their work in video games, including Austin Wintory (Journey, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, Alien: Fireteam Elite), Jason Graves (Dead Space, Far Cry Primal), Joris de Man (Horizon Zero Dawn, Killzone), Lena Raine (Celeste, Minecraft), Helen Lynch and The Flight (Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Gotham Knights) are credited for providing “additional sonic sound and music design.” Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album featuring Balfe’s & Kawczynski’s score next month. Songs from ‘Yellowjackets’ Season 2 to Be Released

Universal Music Canada will release a new soundtrack album for the Showtime original series Yellowjackets. The album features fifteen songs from the second season of the show, including a new track (Sit Right Down) performed by John Cameron Mitchell (with Elijah Wood and series composers Craig Wedren & Anna Waronker), as well as alternative rock songs by such artists as Nirvana, The Cranberries, Garbage, Veruca Salt, Pulp & others. Also included is the previously released Alanis Morrisette single/opening titles song, No Return (Extended Version), as well as a new alternative version, No Return (Lottie’s Dream Sequence) (listen to the track below).The soundtrack will be released digitally and on CD on September 1 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon (CD version) and here (digital version).
