The album features the composer’s original music from the film and will be released digitally tomorrow, August 19. The streaming/download link will be added to this page within the next day. Dreams in Nightmares is written and directed by Shatara Michelle Ford and stars Denée Benton, Sasha Compère, Charlie Barnett, Dezi Bing, Mars Storm Rucker and Jasmin Savoy Brown. Walt Disney Records has released a digital single featuring two original songs from the upcoming Disney Jr. animated special Marvel’s Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up!. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is the Hallows’ Eve Theme & and the Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up! Film Fest Gent has announced the new album Philip Glass – Music for Film featuring music by the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at last year’s World Soundtrack Awards, including all-new studio recordings of selected scores by the composer performed by the Brussels Philharmonic and conducted by the festival’s music director Dirk Brossé. Titles include Glass’ Academy Award-winning scores from Martin Scorsese’s Kundun, Stephen Daldry’s The Hours and Richard Eyre’s Notes on a Scandal, as well as Godfrey Reggio’s Koyaanisqatsi, its second sequel Naqoyqatsi, Errol Morris’s The Fog of War, Woody Allen’s Cassandra’s Dream, Neil Burger’s The Illusionist and Paul Schrader’s Mishima. Also included are over half an hour of previously unreleased music, including selections from David Koepp’s Secret Window, D.J. Caruso’s Taking Lives, the 9/11 documentary Rebirth, the complete score for John Irvin’s Hamburger Hill, a suite from his score for Scott Hick’s No Reservations,  two orchestral pieces written for Peter Weir’s The Truman Show, the original complete ending of the piano duet from Park Chan-wook’s Stoker and a new arrangement of Helen’s Theme from Bernard Rose’s Candyman. Flavorlab Records will release a second soundtrack album for the indie drama Original Sound. The album features the original score from the film composed by Erik Blicker & Glenn Schloss. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 21 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. As previously reported, a separate album featuring the songs from the movie written by Blicker & Schloss was released this past April. Original Sound is directed by Gregory Jbara and stars Laura Marano, David Lambert, Ari Notartomaso, Luis Antonio Ramos, Eric Stoltz, Constantine Maroulis and Bridget Moynahan. The drama is based on the off-Broadway play of the same name by Adam Seidel and follows a New York beat maker as he faces a life-altering crossroads when his track is stolen by rising pop star and – to suppress the scandal – a high-stakes collaboration is brokered, thrusting him into Manhattan’s elite music scene.
