Department Records has released a soundtrack album for the BBC drama Waiting for the Out. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Sion Trefor (Say Nothing, Toxic Town, How to Get to Heaven from Belfast, Death Valley). Waiting for the Out is created by Dennis Kelly based on Andy West’s memoir The Life Inside and stars Josh Finan, Gerard Kearns, Stephen Wight, Phil Daniels, Samantha Spiro, Alex Ferns, Francis Lovehall and Josef Altin. Premiering tomorrow, April 20, is the Prime Video original animated series Kevin created by Joe Wengert & Aubrey Plaza and starring Jason Schwartzman, Plaza herself, Whoopi Goldberg, John Waters, Gil Ozeri, Aparna Nancherla and Amy Sedaris. The show’s original score is composed by Dan Romer (Lilo & Stitch, Luca, Beasts of No Nation, Station Eleven, Superman & Lois, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Maniac, The Good Doctor) who also co-wrote the theme song, I’m Coming Home, with Schwartzman. Premiering on Tuesday, April 21, is the British Netflix original series Unchosen created by Julie Gearey and starring Molly Windsor, Asa Butterfield, Christopher Eccleston, Fra Fee, Siobhan Finneran, Ashton McAuley, Alexa Davies, Olivia Pickering and Lucy Black. Music Box Publishing has released a soundtrack album for the French romantic comedy This Charming Girl (Une fille en or). The album features the film’s original score composed by Frédéric Norel (The Art of Love). Also included is the original song Diecimila Anni written by the composer and performed by Fanny Norel & Dom Battaglia The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Walt Disney Records will release three different versiond of the soundtrack for Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. The digital version featuring the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Ludwig Göransson (Sinners, Oppenheimer, Black Panther, Tenet, Turning Red, Creed, Community) will be released on May 15. A standard vinyl edition pressed on 12-inch black vinyl featuring thirteen score tracks will be coming out on June 5 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon and a special limited edition Mandalorian helmet-shaped 10” die-cut vinyl, which includes two new score cues, will be released on May 22 and is available for pre-order here.
