‘Stormskerry Maja’ Soundtrack Album Details

Platoon will release a soundtrack album for the Finnish period drama Stormskerry Maja. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lauri Porra (Rat King, Heavy Trip) and performed by the Lahti Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dalia Stasevska. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 2 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Stormskerry Maja is written and directed by Tiina Lymi and stars Amanda Jansson, Linus Troedsson and Desmond Eastwood. Alejandro Amenábar is set to compose the music for the upcoming Spanish period adventure epic The Captive (El Cautivo). The filmmaker will also direct the movie, which will star Julio Peña and Alessandro Borghi and tells the origin story of Miguel de Cervantes, author of the iconic novel Don Quixote, who – at the age of 28 – was taken captive by the Moors in Algiers, leading to his creative birth.
