‘Parkland’ Soundtrack Details

parklandRhino Records will release the official soundtrack album for the historical drama Parkland. The album features the film’s original music composed by James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, King Kong, The Sixth Sense). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 30, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Parkland is written and directed by Peter Landesman and stars James Badge Dale, Zac Efron, Jackie Earle Haley, Colin Hanks, Marcia Gay Harden, Ron Livingston, Jeremy Strong, Billy Bob Thornton, Jacki Weaver and Paul Giamatti. The movie chronicles the events leading up to President John F. Kennedy’s assassination and is named for the Parkland Memorial Hospital where JFK was rushed on Nov. 22, 1963. nebraskaMilan Records will release the official soundtrack album for Alexander Payne’s upcoming comedy drama Nebraska. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Orton (The Good Girl) of the Californian acoustic chamber music group Tin Hat. The soundtrack is currently set to be released on November 19, 2013. Check back on this page for the full album details. Nebraska is directed by Alexander Payne (The Descendants) and stars Bruce Dern, Will Forte, Stacy Keach, June Squibb and Bob Odenkirk. btBT has signed on to score the upcoming comedy drama Reach Me. The film is directed by John Herzfeld (2 Days in the Valley, 15 Minutes) and stars Sylvester Stallone, Kyra Sedgwick, Tom Berenger, Kevin Connolly, Thomas Jane, Kelsey Grammer, Nelly, Danny Aiello, Terry Crews, David O’Hara, Omari Hardwick, Lauren Cohan, Elizabeth Henstridge, Cary Elwes and Ryan Kwanten. The movie follows a group of characters whose lives intertwine and eventually collide as a result of a self-published motivational book and its anonymous author. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christophe Beck (The Hangover, The Muppets, The Sentinel). ‘Blue Jasmine’ Soundtrack Released

blue-jasmineMadison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album for Woody Allen’s comedy drama Blue Jasmine. The album features the songs and jazz pieces from the film by artists including Louis Armstrong, King Oliver, Jimmie Noone, Conal Fowkes, Julias Block, Stephen Dudas, Trixie Smith and David Chesky. The soundtrack is now available digitally on iTunes, where you can also check out audio clips. Blue Jasmine written and directed by Allen stars Cate Blanchett, Alec Baldwin, Louis C.K., Bobby Cannavale, Andrew Dice Clay, Sally Hawkins, Peter Sarsgaard and Michael Stuhlbarg. The film about a New York socialite who moves into her sister’s modest apartment in San Francisco to try to pull herself back together again after her marriage to a wealthy businessman falls apart was released this summer by Sony Pictures Classics and is currently playing in theaters. The album features the songs from the film by artists including The Roots, Chubb Rock, Kool Kojak, Speedometer, Digital Underground, PC’s Ltd. and more. Also included is a suite from the film’s score composed by Christopher Lennertz (Horrible Bosses, Revolution, Identity Thief). Battle of the Year is directed by Benson Lee and stars Josh Holloway, Laz Alonso, Josh Peck, Caity Lotz and Chris Brown. The movie centers on an all-star American b-boy crew that is training to compete in France at the Battle of the Year (BOTY) International Championships. The film marks the directorial debut of Stephen Campanelli who has been Clint Eastwood’s camera operator since The Bridges of Madison County and stars Olga Kurylenko, Vincent Cassel and Shea Whigham. The movie follows a thief who is trying to avoid both the law and a deadly gang of assassins. Adam Marcus & Debra Sullivan (Texas Chainsaw 3D) have written the screenplay. Anton Ernst who has previously collaborated with Eyquem on last year’s South African Oscar submission Little One is producing the film for Thaba Media and Azari Media. the-white-dawnIntrada Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1974 adventure drama The White Dawn directed by Philip Kaufman (The Right Stuff, Henry & June, Rising Sun) and starring Warren Oates, Timothy Bottoms and Lou Gossett, alongside the Eskimo People of the Canadian Arctic. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Academy Award-winning composer Henry Mancini (Breakfast at Tiffany’s, The Pink Panther). geoff-zanelliGeoff Zanelli is scoring the upcoming Hallmark Hall of Fame original movie Christmas in Conway. The film is directed by John Kent Harrison and stars Mary-Louise Parker, Andy Garcia and Mandy Moore. The movie follows a man who builds a Ferris wheel in the backyard of his house as the perfect Christmas present for his wife, as he proposed to her many years ago. Stephen P. Lindsey (Hachi: A Dog’s Tale) and Luis Ugaz have written the script. Brent Shields (Remember Sunday, The Makeover) and Howard Koch Jr. (Source Code, Gorky Park) are executive producing the project.
