The show’s original music is composed by Bennett Salvay (Jeepers Creepers, Friday Night Lights, Providence). Partners follows two Chicago lawyers from vastly different backgrounds who unexpectedly meet in court as they each face a personal crisis. The comedy will air every Monday night on FX. Bennett Salvay to Score FX’s ‘Partners’
Bennett Salvay has signed on to score the upcoming FX comedy Partners. The show stars Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence as two Chicago lawyers from vastly different backgrounds who unexpectedly meet in court as they each face a personal crisis. Telma Hopkins, Rory O’Malley, McKaley Miller, Edi Patterson and Danièle Watts are co-starring. Bob Boyett and Robert Horn (Good Advice) serve as the series’ showrunners. They are also executive producing the Lionsgate Television production with Grammer, Lawrence, Brian Sher & Stella Bulochnikov (Boss), Michael Green and Sam Maydew.
Georges Delerue’s ‘Partners’ Score Released
Quartet Records has announced the world premiere release of the score for the 1982 comedy Partners directed by James Burrows and starring Ryan O’Neal and John Hurt. The original score for the film was composed and conducted by Georges Delerue (Platoon, Man, Woman and Child), but only 12 minutes were used in the final version of the Paramount Pictures production as the majority of the score was replaced by pop songs and cues from other films by Giorgio Moroder, Dave Frank and Charles Fox and more. The album features the film’s score in order of the film, as well as music written for some sequences that were deleted in the editing room.
