Columbia Records will release a soundtrack album for the supernatural horror thriller Carrie. The album features the film’s songs by such artists as Rogue Wave, Vampire Weekend, Passion Pit, The Naked and Famous, The Civil Wars, Matrimony, Lord Huron and Krewella. The soundtrack will be released on October 15, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Carrie is directed by Kimberly Peirce and stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Julianne Moore, Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Gabriella Wilde and Ansel Elgort. The movie is a reimagining of Stephen King’s classic horror tale about Carrie White, a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom. ‘Grace Unplugged’ Score Album Announced

Ah 2 Music will release a score album for the family drama Grace Unplugged. The soundtrack features the film’s original orchestral score composed and conducted by Jeff Lippencott. The album will be released digitally on October 1, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. As previously reported, Sparrow Records has released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the film. Grace Unplugged is directed by Brad J. Silverman and stars AJ Michalka, James Denton, Kevin Pollak, Jamie Grace, Chris Ellis, Michael Welch, Shawnee Smith, Mary Shaw, Chris Tomlin and Pia Toscano. Relativity Music Group will release the official soundtrack album for Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s indie comedy Don Jon. The album features the film’s original score composed by Nathan Johnson (Looper, Brick, The Brothers Bloom). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 8, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Don Jon is written and directed by Gordon-Levitt who also stars in the film alongside Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, Tony Danza and Brie Larson. The movie follows a porn-addicted, modern day Don Juan who sets out to become a less selfish person after meeting a recently widowed older woman. Madison Gate Records has released a new soundtrack album for AMC’s critically acclaimed and Emmy-winning drama Breaking Bad. The album features previously unreleased selections from the show’s original music composed by Dave Porter. Breaking Bad: Original Score from the Television Series Volume 2 is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. Lionsgate and Republic Records have announced the details of the soundtrack album for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The album features the original song Atlas by Coldplay, which is already available as a single, as well as a new song by Christina Aguillera.
