Two movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the supernatural thriller Incarnate directed by Brad Peyton and starring Aaron Eckhart, Carice van Houten, Catalina Sandino Moreno and David Mazouz. The film’s original music is composed by Andrew Lockington (San Andreas, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island). No soundtrack album has been announced. The Jason Blum-produced movie revolves around an unconventional exorcist who taps into the subconscious of a nine-year old boy who is possessed by a powerful, ancient demon. The thriller is being released by High Top Releasing/BH Tilt.
Also opening wide is the faith-based drama Believe written and directed by Billy Dickson and starring Ryan O’Quinn, Shawnee Smith, Danielle Nicolet, Kevin Sizemore, David DeLuise and Isaac Ryan Brown. Michael Reola (Melissa & Joey) has composed the film’s original score. No word on a soundtrack album. The movie follows a small-town business owner who tries to save the local Christmas pageant against all odds. The drama is being distributed by Freestyle Releasing.
