Music Box Records has announced a soundtrack album for Rebecca Zlotowski’s drama Planetarium. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Horns, Every Secret Thing, Populaire). Also included are the composer’s scores for Zlotowski 2010 & 2013 features Belle Épine and Grand Central. The 2-CD set will be released on November 10, 2016 and is now available to pre-order as an import here. The soundtrack will be also be available digitally on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Planetarium is co-written and directed by Zlotowski and stars Natalie Portman and Lily Rose Depp. The movie is set in the 1930s and follows two sisters who are believed to possess the supernatural ability to connect with ghosts and cross paths with a visionary French producer while performing in Paris. Randy Edelman is scoring the upcoming family movie Max 2: White House Hero. The film is directed by Brian Levant (The Flintstones, Jingle All the Way, Are We There Yet?) and stars Lochlyn Munro, Francesca Capaldi, Carrie Genzel, Bradley Stryker, Bruce Blain, Curtis Lum, Reese Alexander and Zane Austin. The movie is the sequel to last year’s Boaz Yakin-directed feature Max, which was scored by Trevor Rabin. No plot details have been announced yet. Steven Altiere (Norm of the North) has written the screenplay. Karen Rosenfelt (Twilight series, Marley & Me, Percy Jackson series) is producing the MGM production with Ken Blancato (The Book Thief) and Matt Bierman. Ilan Eshkeri has been tapped to score the upcoming drama Breathe. The film is directed by actor Andy Serkis and stars Andrew Garfield, Claire Foy, Hugh Bonneville and Charles Chapman. The movie is based on a true story and centers on a brilliant and adventurous man whose life takes a dramatic turn when polio leaves him paralyzed. Academy Award nominee William Nicholson (Gladiator, Nell, Les Miserables, Shadowlands) has written the screenplay. The movie based on the 1937 animated classic will be produced by Marc Platt (Into the Woods, Drive, Legally Blonde, Nine). Erin Cressida Wilson (The Girl on the Train, Secretary, Men, Women & Children) is attached to write the screenplay. No actors or director have been signed yet. ‘Narcos’ Season 2 Soundtrack Announced

Lakeshore Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Narcos. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Pedro Bromfman (RoboCop, Elite Squad). Also included are songs by Ruben Juarez, Grupo Niche, Usma y Su Conjunto, La Cancion Colombiana and The Emmy Award-nominated main title theme Tuyo by Rodrigo Amarante. The soundtrack will be released digitally on iTunes/Apple Music on November 11, 2016 and through all service providers on November 18, followed by a physical release on December 9. The EP features five tracks from the show’s original music composed by Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Pacific Rim, Iron Man, Clash of the Titans, Person of Interest), including the main titles theme and instrumental versions of the Rolling Stones’ Paint It, Black and Soundgarden’s Black Hole Sun (as featured in the pilot episode), as well as Radiohead’s No Surprises and The Cure’s A Forest. Jon Ekstrand is reteaming with director Daniel Espinosa on the upcoming sci-fi thriller Life. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, Olga Dihovichnaya, Ariyon Bakare and Hiroyuki Sanada. The movie follows the crew of the International Space Station, who, after retrieving a sample from Mars, discover that it displays signs of life, and proves to be more intelligent than expected. Premiering on Wednesday, November 2, is the new IFC original series Stan Against Evil created by Dana Gould and starring John C. McGinley, Janet Varney, Nate Mooney, Deborah Baker Jr. and Mick Ignis. The show’s original music is composed by Eban Schletter (SpongeBob Square Pants, Another Period). The horror comedy follows a former sheriff of a small New England town who teams up with his younger replacement to investigate a series of supernatural occurrences. Premiering on Friday, November 4, is the Netflix original series The Crown created by Peter Morgan and starring Claire Foy, Matt Smith, Vanessa Kirby and John Lithgow. Hans Zimmer (Inception, The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight) has composed the show’s main theme and Rupert Gregson-Williams (Hacksaw Ridge, The Legend of Tarzan, Hotel Rwanda) has composed the original score. Timbaland’s ‘Skylanders Academy’ Theme Song ‘Harmony’ Released

Activision/Blizzard Music have released the theme song for the new Netflix animated series Skylanders Academy. The track, entitled Harmony, is performed by Timbaland feat. Dalton Diehl.
