Elia Cmiral is composing the music for the upcoming thriller Temple. The film is directed by John Stockwell (Blue Crush, Into the Blue, Crazy/Beautiful) and stars Wesley Snipes, Anne Heche, Dave Annable and WWE star Seth Rollin. The movie follows a team of trained operatives who find themselves trapped inside an isolated military compound after its artificial intelligence is suddenly shut down and begin to experience strange and horrific phenomena. ‘Ethel & Ernest’ Soundtrack Details

Decca Records will release the official soundtrack album for the animated feature Ethel & Ernest. The album features the film’s original score composed by Carl Davis (Cranford, Pride and Prejudice, The French Lieutenant’s Woman, Upstairs Downstairs). Also included is the original song In the Blink of an Eye performed by Paul McCartney. The soundtrack will be released in the UK on November 11, 2016. No word yet on a domestic release date. Ethel & Ernest is written and directed by Roger Mainwood and features the voices of Brenda Blethyn, Jim Broadbent, Luke Treadaway, Pam Ferris, Roger Allam, Peter Wight, Harry Collett, Gillian Hanna and Karyn Claydon. Four new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the action thriller Jack Reacher: Never Go Back directed by Edward Zwick and starring Tom Cruise, Cobie Smulders, Aldis Hodge, Danika Yarosh, Patrick Heusinger, Holt McCallany and Robert Knepper. The film’s original music is composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: Civil War, X-Men: First Class, Big Hero 6, Captain Phillips). Paramount Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Check out our previous article for the full album details. Also opening wide is the horror thriller Ouija: Origin of Evil directed by Mike Flanagan and starring Henry Thomas, Elizabeth Reaser, Doug Jones, Parker Mack, Sam Anderson, Kate Siegel, Annalise Basso and Lulu Wilson. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jeff Grace (Night Moves, Hap and Leonard, Meek’s Cutoff, Stake Land, Cold in July, The House of the Devil). Ryan Franks and Scott Nickoley have been hired to score the upcoming thriller Southern Fury. The film is directed by Steven C. Miller (Silent Night, Extraction, Marauders) and stars Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and Adrian Grenier. The movie follows a Philadelphia businessman whose deadbeat brother is kidnapped for a large ransom – leading everyone to believe that the brother is involved in the kidnapping. Jason Mosberg has written the screenplay. Atlantic Records will release a second soundtrack album for Nate Parker’s drama The Birth of a Nation. The album features the film’s original score composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, Wreck-It-Ralph, X-Men: First Class, Big Hero 6, Captain Phillips). Also included is the song Strange Fruit by Nina Simone. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 21 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. As previously reported, the label has also released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from and inspired by the movie. The Birth of a Nation is co-written and directed by Parker who also stars in the movie alongside Armie Hammer, Mark Boone Jr., Colman Domingo, Aunjanue Ellis, Dwight Henry, Gabrielle Union, Penelope Ann Miller, Aja Naomi King, Esther Scott, Roger Guenveur Smith, and Jackie Earle Haley.
