The film is directed by Jeffrey Walker and stars Xenia Goodwin, Miranda Otto, Dena Kaplan, Alicia Banit, Thomas Lacey, Jordan Rodrigues, Keiynan Lonsdale and Tara Morice. The movie is based on the Australian TV series Dance Academy created by Samantha Strauss & Joanna Werner, which premiered in 2010, and tracks where the show’s characters are in their lives now. a-ghost-storyDaniel Hart is reteaming with director David Lowery on the upcoming drama A Ghost Story. The film is written and directed by Lowery and stars Casey Affleck, Rooney Mara, Will Oldham, Sonia Acevedo, Rob Zabrecky and Liz Franke. The movie follows a spectral figure, who was once a man and was prematurely taken from this Earth, who makes his way toward his former home, where he is fated to remain forevermore. Toby Halbrooks & James M. Johnston (Listen Up Philip) and Adam Donaghey are producing the project. The album features the film’s original music composed by Cezary Skubiszewski (The SapphiresDeath Defying ActsBeneath Hill 60) who previously scored the 2011 original Red Dog movie. Also included are the songs from the movie by The Easybeats, Daddy Cool, Sherbet, The Travelling Wilbury & more. The soundtrack is now available digitally and physically in Australia. The film is written and directed by Zhang Jiajia and stars Tony Leung Chiu-wai, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Eason Chan, Angelababy and Sandrine Pinna. The movie follows a young woman who falls in love with a married painter whose wife is unfaithful to him. Kar Wai Wong (In the Mood for Love, 2046, My Blueberry Nights) is producing the project. jurassic-worldMichael Giacchino confirmed in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he will be returning to score the currently untitled Jurassic World sequel. The film will be directed by J.A. Bayona and is set to star Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, Justice Smith and. No plot details have been revealed yet. Colin Trevorrow who directed the first Jurassic World movie has written the screenplay with Derek Connolly (Safety Not Guaranteed). 20th-century-womenRhino Records has released a soundtrack album for the comedy drama 20th Century Women. The album features the songs from the movie by David Bowie, Talking Heads, The Raincoats, Fred Astaire, Benny Goodman, Rudy Vallee, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Devo, Louis Armstrong, The Buzzcocks & more. Also included are selections from the film’s original score composed by Roger Neill (BeginnersMozart in the Jungle, Don’t Think TwiceKing of the Hill). The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio samples. rogue-oneOpening in most theaters is the sci-fi adventure Rogue One: A Star Wars Story directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed and Forest Whitaker. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Star TrekUpInside OutJurassic WorldDoctor Strange). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, which also features themes by John Williams. beachesWarner Bros. Records will release a soundtrack for the Lifetime original movie Beaches. The EP features five songs from the film performed by Idina Menzel. The soundtrack will be released digitally on January 13, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The first track, Wind Beneath My Wings, is already available to download. Beaches is directed by Allison Anders and stars Menzel, alongside Nia Long, Gabriella Pizzolo, Grace Capeless, Jodi Capeless, Sanai Victoria and Antonio Cupo. The movie is a remake of the 1988 feature of the same name and revolves around a meeting of two youngsters on the Venice Boardwalk, who, though worlds apart in lifestyle, embark on an unexpected and lifelong friendship. The film is directed by Michael Showalter (Hello, My Name Is DorisWet Hot American Summer) and stars Kumail Nanjiani, Zoe Kazan, Holly Hunter, Ray Romano and Anupam Kher. The movie follows a Pakistan-born comedian and an American grad student as they are dealing with their cultural differences as their relationship grows. Nanjiani (Silicon Valley) also co-wrote the screenplay with Emily V. Gordon.
