Silva Screen Records will release new soundtrack albums for the BBC hit series Sherlock. The albums feature the original music from the fourth season episodes The Six Thatchers and The Lying Detective composed by David Arnold (Independence Day, Casino Royale, Stargate, Tomorrow Never Dies) and Michael Price (The Inbetweeners 2). The soundtrack for The Six Thatchers will be released digitally on January 2, 2017 (click here to download) and the score for The Lying Detective episode will be coming out on January 9 (visit iTunes to pre-order). An album for the third new episode, The Final Problem, will be released on December 16. The label has previously released soundtracks for the first three seasons and will also release a CD featuring the music from the fourth season in late January. Universal Music has released a soundtrack album for Rob Zombie’s horror thriller 31. The album features the songs from the movie by The James Gang, Kitty Wells, The Mamas & The Papas, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ernest Tubb & more. Also included are selections from the movie’s score by Zombie and John 5. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. A vinyl version is set to be released next year and is available for pre-order here. 31 is written and directed by Zombie and stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Malcom McDowell, Meg Foster, Elizabeth Daily, Sandra Rosko and Richard Brake. Ludwig Goransson’s ‘California Loco’ from Disney’s ‘Inner Workings’ to Be Released

Walt Disney Records will release the original song California Loco from the animated short Inner Workings. The song is written and performed by the film’s composer Ludwig Goransson (Creed, Community, Fruitvale Station, Central Intelligence) and features vocals by Este Haim. The track will be released as a digital single tomorrow, December 16 and will be available to download on Amazon. The label has also released Goransson’s original score from the film a weeks ago. Inner Workings is written and directed by Leonardo Matsuda and tells the story of the internal struggle between a man’s pragmatic, logical side and his free-spirited, adventurous half. The short is now playing in theaters nationwide in front of Disney Animation’s feature Moana.

Steve Levenson (Masters of Sex, Dear Evan Hansen stage musical) is writing the screenplay and Marc Platt (La La Land, Bridge of Spies, Into the Woods, Legally Blonde) will produce the film with Adam Siegel (Drive, 2 Guns).
