Varèse Sarabande has announced the premiere vinyl release of the soundtrack album for Aardman & DreamWorks Animation’s 2005 feature Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit directed by Nick Park & Steve Box and starring Peter Sallis, Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter & Peter Kay. The album features the film’s original score composed by Julian Nott (who scored all the Wallace & Gromit shorts) and produced by Hans Zimmer, as well as additional music by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Gilded Age), Jim Dooley (Pushing Daisies, Obsessed, When a Stranger Calls), Lorne Balfe (who later co-scored the second Wallace & Gromit feature with Nott) and Alastair King (The Last Detective). The soundtrack will be released as a collectible picture-disc edition on September 18 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.

‘Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl’ Soundtrack Album Details
Sony Masterworks will release the official soundtrack album for Aardman Animations’ feature Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Black Adam, Black Widow, Top Gun: Maverick, Bad Boys for Life, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, His Dark Materials) and Julian Nott who previously scored the original Wallace & Gromit shorts and the first feature, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Also included is vocal track from the Norbots and an 8-bit version of Nott’s classic theme. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, December 13 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, Top Gun: Maverick, Black Adam, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, Bad Boys for Life, His Dark Materials) is composing music for the upcoming Netflix animated film Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. The film is directed by Nick Park (Chicken Run, Early Man) & Merlin Crossingham and features the voices of Ben Whitehead, Peter Kay, Reece Shearsmith, Lauren Patel, Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh and Muzz. The movie follows Gromit as he gets concerned that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions, when Wallace invents a “smart” gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own.
‘Early Man’ Soundtrack Details
Mercury Records will release a soundtrack album for Aardman Animations’ feature Early Man. Also included are new songs by New Hope Club and The Vamps, as well as Kaiser Chiefs’ I Predict a Riot. The soundtrack will be released digitally on January 26, 2018 and is now available for pore-order on Amazon. Early Man is directed by Nick Park and features the voice talent of Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston, Maisie Williams, Timothy Spall and Richard Ayoade. The movie tells the story of a courageous caveman and his best friend as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy and his Bronze Age City to save their home.
Harry Gregson-Williams Scoring ‘Early Man’
Aardman Animations co-founder Peter Lord confirmed on Twitter that Harry Gregson-Williams is currently recording his score for the upcoming animated feature Early Man. The music is being recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London.
