richard-the-storkQuartet Records has announced a soundtrack album for the animated feature Richard the Stork. The album features the film’s original music composed by Eric Neveux (IntimacyHideaways, Cezanne et MoiBorgiaNicholas on Holiday) who recorded his score with the Brussels Philharmonic. Also included is the original song We’re Coming Home performed by Stacey King. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 2, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. A physical version can be orderers on the label’s official website Richard the Stork is directed by Toby Genkel & Reza Memari (All Creatures Big and Small) and follows a sparrow who was orphaned at birth and raised by storks and learns about his true identity when his storks family plans to migrate to Africa. another-evilA soundtrack album will be released for the horror comedy Another Evil. The album features the film’s original music composed by White Dove. The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 27, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Another Evil is written and directed by Carson Mell and stars Steve Zissis, Mark Proksch, Dan Bakkedahl, Jennifer Irwin, Steve Little and Dax Flame. The movie follows a frightened husband who goes behind his wife’s back to rid their vacation home of ghosts, but discovers that the supposed expert’s bizarre techniques may be causing more harm than good. UPDATE: Director Michael Dougherty mentioned on Twitter that Junkie XL is not scoring the film and GQ Magazine’s article is incorrect.

According to a recent article in GQ, Junkie XL (aka Tom Holkenborg) will be scoring the upcoming monster movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is directed by Michael Dougherty (Krampus, Trick ‘r Treat) and stars Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Aisha Hinds. No plot details have been announced yet. Dougherty is writing the screenplay with Zach Shields (Krampus). Thomas Tull & Jon Jashni are producing the Legendary Entertainment production with Mary Parent (The Revenant, Pacific Rim) and Brian Rogers. blake-neelyBlake Neely revealed in a recent interview in Variety that he is set to reunite with Greg Berlanti on the upcoming feature coming-of-age comedy drama Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda. The film is directed by Berlanti and stars Nick Robinson, Jennifer Garner, Katherine Langford, Alexandra Shipp, Logan Miller, Tony Hale, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Miles Heizer and Talitha Bateman. The movie is based on Becky Albertalli’s 2015 book of the same title and centers on a gay teenager, who, after an email written by him falls into the wrong hands, is forced to find a way to step out of his comfort zone before being pushed out. The composer accepted his award in person at the ceremony in London. Check out his acceptance speech after the jump. The show’s original music is composed by John Rowley (DefendorWeirdsville). Mary Kills People centers on a single mother who is an ER doctor by day, but by night, she and her partner, a former plastic surgeon, moonlight as underground angels of death and help terminally ill patients slip away on their own terms. Lorne Balfe (The LEGO Batman MovieHomeTerminator Genisys) is composing the show’s music and Hans Zimmer (Pirates of the CaribbeanInceptionGladiator) wrote the main titles theme. Milan Records will release a soundtrack EP for the show this Friday, April 28 and a full soundtrack album is in the works for a release later this year. The show’s first season follows the life of Albert Einstein, from his early years as a patent clerk, to his later years as a physicist who developed the theory of relativity. leisure-seekerCarlo Virzi is reteaming with his brother Paolo Virzi on the upcoming drama The Leisure Seeker. The film marks the English language debut of the filmmaker whose previous movies include 2013’s Human Capital, 2010’s The First Beautiful Thing and last year’s Like Crazy and and stars Helen Mirren, Donald Sutherland, Kirsty Mitchell, Christian McKay and Robert Pralgo. The movie is inspired by the novel of the same name by Michael Zadoorian and follows a runaway couple going on a cross-country journey in their vintage camper as they flee the suffocating care of their doctors and grown children.
