The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Johnny Klimek & Tom Tykwer (Cloud Atlas, Run Lola Run, The International, Perfume: Story of a Murderer). The Newton Brothers are set to score the upcoming action thriller Escape Plan 2: Hades. The film is directed by Steven C. Miller (Marauders, Extraction) and stars Sylvester Stallone, Jaime King, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Wes Chatham, Jesse Metcalfe, Pete Wentz and Dave Bautista. No plot details have been announced yet. Miles Chapman wrote the screenplay. Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the documentary David Lynch: The Art Life. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jonatan Bengta who is also known as the artis The mOOnbird. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 12, 2017. David Lynch: The Art Life is directed by Jon Nguyen and looks at Lynch’s art, music, and early films, shining a light into the dark corners of his unique world and giving audiences a better understanding of the man and the artist. The film is written and directed by Lynne Ramsay and stars Joaquin Phoenix, Alessandro Nivalo, John Doman, Ekaterina Samsonov and Judith Roberts. The movie is based on the Jonathan Ames novel of the same title and follows a former war veteran who tries to save women trapped in the world of sex trafficking. Legacy Recordings, Columbia Records, Third Man Records nd Lomax Records have announced a number of soundtracks for the PBS docu-series American Epic. The releases include the 5-CD deluxe box set American Epic: The Collection, which features 100 songs from the show by artists including Mississippi John Hurt, The Carter Family, Charley Patton, Jimmie Rodgers, Lydia Mendoza & more, and is set to be released on May 12 (click here to pre-order), as well as American Epic: The Soundtrack, which features 15 songs and will be released digitally and physically on the same day (visit Amazon to pre-order). Tyler Bates has signed on to score the upcoming crime drama Billionaire Boys Club. The film is directed by James Cox (Wonderland, Highway) and stars Ansel Elgort, Taron Egerton, Kevin Spacey, Emma Roberts, Suki Waterhouse, Bokeem Woodbine, Billie Lourd, Jeremy Irvine and Judd Nelson. The movie is based on the true story of a group of wealthy young men in Los Angeles during the early 1980s who established a get-rich quick scam that turned deadly. Cox also co-wrote the screenplay with Captain Mauzner (Factory Girl).
