Milan Records has released the cover version of the song Americanos from Edgar Wright’s sci-fi action thriller The Running Man. The track (originally written by Holly Johnson) is produced (with Jason Mater & Stefan Litrownik) and performed by Leslie Powell and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 14 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. A vinyl release is also expected. The Running Man is co-written and directed by Wright and stars Glen Powell, Josh Brolin, Colman Domingo, William H. Expanded ‘Hot Fuzz’ Score Album Announced
La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2007 action comedy Hot Fuzz co-written and directed by Edgar Wright and starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost,Timothy Dalton and Jim Broadbent. The album features the expanded and remastered original score from the film composed by David Arnold (Independence Day, Casino Royale, Sherlock, Stargate, Tomorrow Never Dies, Good Omens, Godzilla), including previously unreleased music. The 2-CD set is limited to 1,500 copies and will be available to order on the label’s official website at noon today and will also be available to order on Amazon.

The album features the film’s original score composed by David Arnold (Independence Day, Casino Royale, Stargate, Tomorrow Never Dies, Sherlock, Godzilla, Good Omens). Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. Mondo has previously released a vinyl edition featuring Arnold’s score in 2017. The 2007 original soundtrack album featuring songs from the movie and Arnold’s The Hot Fuzz Suite was released by Interscope Records.

The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Steven Price (Gravity, Our Planet, Fury, Suicide Squad, Over the Moon, Baby Driver, The World’s End, The Aeronauts). Also included is Anya Taylor-Joy’s performance of Downtown as it appears in the movie, as well a two extended versions produced by Price and featuring an orchestra recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London (already available as a digital single now). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, October 29 by Back Lot Music (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). A vinyl edition will be available from Mondo. The labels will also be releasing a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie this Friday.

Details for ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’ Seven Evil Exes Edition Soundtrack Album Announced
ABKCO Records has announced the full details of the new soundtrack album for Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. the World starring Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Alison Pill, Brandon Routh and Jason Schwartzman. The Seven Evil Exes Edition features both the songs and the original score by Nigel Godrich from the movie. The album, which is being released coinciding with the film’s 10th Anniversary, features twelve previously unreleased tracks, including more performances by Sex Bob-Omb and demos from Beck, as well as Black Sheep by Metric and sung by actress Brie Larson. The 4-Picture Disc LP Collection, which also features notes by both Wright and Godrich, a new double-sided film poster and a coloring page with artwork by Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley, will be released on March 26, 2021 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
