Filmtrax has released a soundtrack album for the action thriller Kidnap. The album features the film’s original music composed by Federico Jusid (The Secret in Their Eyes, Misconduct, Black Butterfly, The Hunter’s Prayer). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Kidnap is directed by Luis Prieto, produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura & Erik Howsam and stars Halle Berry as a mother who will stop at nothing to rescue her kidnapped son. Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the horror movie Annabelle: Creation directed by David Sandberg and starring Stephanie Sigman, Talitha Bateman, Lulu Wilson, Philippa Anne Coulthard, Grace Fulton, Lou Lou Safran, Samara Lee, Tayler Buck, Anthony LaPaglia and Miranda Otto. The film’s original music is composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (Hidden Figures, Lights Out, It, A Cure for Wellness, Bitter Harvest). Watertower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Check out our previous news article for the full album details.
Also opening wide is the animated feature The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature directed by Cal Brunker and featuring the voices of Will Arnett, Katherine Heigl, Maya Rudolph, Bobby Moynihan, Gabriel Iglesias, Jeff Dunham, Bobby Cannavale, Isabel Moner, Sebastian Maniscalo and Jackie Chan. Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions, he Angry Bird Movie, he Smurfs) has composed the film’s original music. No word yet on a soundtrack release. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 18, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
