WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the Riverdale special episode Carrie the Musical. The album features the songs from the musical episode performed by cast members KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch, Shannon Purser, Casey Cott, Emilija Baranac, Cody Kearsley, Ashleigh Murray and Madchen Amick. The songs were originally written by Michael Gore and Dean Pitchford for the stage adaptation of the Stephen King novel. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 19 and will be available to download on Amazon. Check out the music videos of two songs from the episode after the jump. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the series’ first season, as well as a separate album featuring composer Blake Neely’s score. The musical episode of Riverdale will premiere tonight on the CW.
