La-La Land Records has announced the details of its latest soundtrack releases, including a new soundtrack for Universal Pictures’ 1995 action adventure Waterworld directed by Kevin Reynolds and starring Kevin Costner, Dennis Hopper and Jeanne Tripplehorn. The album features the expanded and remastered score from the movie composed by James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, he Sixth Sense, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, King Kong), including the previously unreleased music and the movie’s original composer Mark Isham’s Music Box Theme . The film is written and directed by Sorkin and stars Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba, Kevin Costner, Michael Cera, Brian d’Arcy James, Chris O’Dowd, Bill Camp, Graham Greene, Claire Rankin, Joe Keery and Jeremy Strong. The movie is based on Molly Bloom’s memoir and tells the story of the Olympic-class skier who, following an injury, ran the world’s most exclusive high-stakes poker game for a decade before being arrested in the middle of the night by 17 FBI agents wielding automatic weapons. Soundtrack Album for NBC’s ‘This Is Us’ to Be Released

Universal Music will release a soundtrack album for the NBC hit drama This Is Us. The album features a selection of songs from the series by Paul Simon, Sufjan Stevens, Stevie Wonder, Wilco, Cat Stevens, Nick Drake, Ringo Starr & more, as well as Mandy Moore’s cover of Little Feat’s Willin‘. Also included is the original song We Can Always Come Back To This performed by Brian Tyree Henry and written by the show’s composer Siddhartha Khosla & singer/songwriter Chris Pierce, a suite from Khosla’s original score from the show, as well as two tracks from the composer’s band Goldspot. ‘Inconceivable’ Soundtrack Relased

Filmtrax has released a soundtrack album for the psychological thriller Inconceivable. The album features the film’s original music composed by Kevin Kiner (CSI: Miami, Star Wars: Rebels, Hell on Wheels, Jane the Virgin, Star Wars: The Clone Wars). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. Inconceivable is directed by Jonathan Baker and stars Nicolas Cage, Gina Gershon, Faye Dunaway, Nicky Whelan and Natalie Eva Marie. The movie centers on a mother who looks to escape her abusive past by moving to a new town where she befriends another mother, who grows suspicious of her. The show’s original music composed by Golden Globe and Grammy Award winner Antonio Sanchez (Birdman) who makes his television scoring debut on the project. The film is directed by Vaughan Sivell (Prevenge, Third Star) and follows the rise and fall of Oscar Pistorius, the inspiring, Olympic hero turned convicted murderer who made history by becoming the first double-amputee sprinter to compete in the Olympics. Sivell is also producing the project with Sean Richard for Western Edge Pictures, and the Gennaker Group. Dwayne Wayans is the composer of the new NBC comedy Marlon. The comedy is inspired by the real life of Marlon Wayans and centers on a loving (but immature) father committed to co-parenting his two kids with his very-together ex-wife.
