Walt Disney Records has announced the first full soundtrack album for Disney’s Tangled: The Series. The album features the songs from the show composed by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Enchanted) and featuring lyrics by Glenn Slater (Galavant), including previously unreleased Set Yourself Free and Ready As I’ll Ever Be from the first season finale premiering this weekend. The soundtrack will be released digitally on January 19, 2018. and will be available to download on Amazon. The film is directed by David Douglas & Drew Fellman and follows a researcher at Chengdu Panda Base in China who is dedicated to protecting the species by breeding adult Giant Pandas in order to introduce cubs into the wild and whose passion leads her to initiate a new technique inspired by a black bear program in rural New Hampshire. The album features a selections of songs from the show’s first season by artists such as Francis and the Lights, Glass Animals, Billie Eilish, Sofi Tukker, Lizzy Land & more.
