Alexandre Desplat is set to reteam with Jacques Audiard on the upcoming noir western The Sisters Brothers. The film marks the director’s first English language feature and stars Joaquin Phoenix, Jake Gyllenhaal, John C. Reilly and Riz Ahmed. The movie is based on Patrick deWitt’s novel of the same title and follows two brothers in 1850s Oregon who are hired to kill a prospector. Audiard also co-wrote the screenplay with Thomas Bidegain.
